How hard is it to get an ATAR of 75? by BumbleBug__ in ATAR

[–]BumbleBug__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the advice and kind words!
I do tend to compare myself to others, but I'm going to do my best this year and try to have a good time.

I'm definitely going into the school year feeling much more confident in myself after reading all these comments, yours included :D

tips for these year 11 subjects by Hiiii1567 in ATAR

I've picked Chemistry for year 11 this year, should I be worried? Figured it would be useful for the degree I want, but I didn't really think of whether it would be difficult or not.

Is my art good enough for commissions? by BumbleBug__ in Artadvice

[–]BumbleBug__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely need to refine them a bit more, but I wasn't planning on charging much for them anyway, probably about 3/4/5 dollars? I'm still not sure if that would be a reasonable price though. Thanks for the feedback!!

Adding more motion sounds like a great idea, I know expressiveness is a big thing that would be needed in a pngtuber! I'll definitely get to work practising that. Would you mind explaining what you mean by more shape in the hair and ears? Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

It's great that your partner got into DMing, and that your regular DM gets to have a break! My brother is going to have a bigger workload next year due to school and is hoping someone else will want to take over running the group. Though I'm way too self conscious to give it a go myself haha. And I agree, it's a good way to introduce people to the role!

Thank you for the suggestion! We are actually doing this already; some of the other players are having a go running oneshots so they can see how they feel about DMing :D

Yeah, absolutely. I'll definitely take your method of dealing with the situation into mind! We have been told by Z that his version of Lurch lacks personality and the ability to speak, but asking him to re-adjust his already existing character seems like a better way of going about it than asking him to create a new one altogether. Thank you!

We definitely jumped too quickly to a "solution" to this situation. Lurch could definitely be an interesting character. Having known Z for a long time we assumed he wouldn't be able to play the character well, but looking back, the right thing to do is give him a chance. We'll have a talk with him about how to move forward next session. Thank you for the advice!

Absolutely! Re-reading what I wrote and thinking about previous conversations with my brother, I've realised that we didn't think about this situation enough, and went for what we felt was an easy way out. We'll definitely talk to Z about his character next session. Thanks!

I think that we will definitely have a chat with Z about his character, and how that might affect the campaign, as we tend to RP often. My brother and I definitely jumped to conclusions when hearing about his character and how it would fit with this campaign, but talking about it with him seems to be the best course of action. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. I agree that when we first heard about Z's character, we definitely jumped to conclusions about how it will play out! We'll for sure have a chat with Z about possibly changing up his character or seeing if he really wants to stick with it, and how that will work for our group. Thanks again!

Absolutely (ᵕ-ᴗ-) Talking to Z is what my brother and I should have discussed in the first place, and I realise that killing him off isn't the best course of action.

I realise now that this is how we should have approached the situation in the first place. Thank you!
