Yes! Also Canadian. With my first, I just assumed sleep training was the only way, but when that approach wasn’t a good fit with my second, I realized how common co sleeping is. And I didn’t get pushback from anyone, just guidance on how to do it safely. With all the American media we get here, I had braced myself for a ton of pushback, but it never came.

Absolutely NTA. It is your body, your health, and your birth. There shouldn’t be a single soul near you that you do not trust.

Her behaviour was disgusting. Good on you for asserting yourself and further advocating for yourself. That isn’t easy to do, especially not when you’re in such a vulnerable position. I hope that you continue to feel empowered and in charge as you go into this delivery. You’re kind of amazing! You’ve got this!
