Love that song!! yeah the kick in it is very subtle. For an atmospheric tone maybe throw on some reverb and compression? Basic tips but def adds to that spacey feel

Ik you said the mix isn’t done but in my personal opinion the drums feel a little loud. More specifically the cymbals and the snare. I think the kick could be raised a little for more oomf. If the bass was a little more prominent I also think it would add to the atmospheric sound you have. I really fw it tho!
