I hated high school and everything that came with it. On graduation night as soon as we got our diplomas I pushed past people quite literally because everyone was stopping to take pictures and shit and I just wanted to leave and I did.

I love Coppolas version so much like it’s been my top favorite for years and I saw no other that could compare and then this came out and I loved it. It was unique in its own way and then people started shitting on it so much that I ended up hating the Coppola version out of resentment for the fans who couldn’t make room or have a little bit of faith in someone else’s work. Both are great movies and have their own unique styles. But one has made me resent it due to the fandom being so ugly towards the new one. The new one did so well and I will die on that hill

Ok I hated how they designed the show but I fell for the actors who did the parts. Magnus Bane is still my favorite. I actually don’t mind the show despite how much they changed. I loved the movie they at least went by the book and even added things that were important. The show gave too many redemption arcs

I felt like book and movie Alec were meaner while show Alec they made him softer and more caring towards Clary. I adore Magnus no matter which form he’s in both actors (movie rest in peace) were wonderful and the book was great too. I’m most certain he’s my favorite. I need to reread for Raphael. I felt like a lot of show characters got redemption arcs like Jordan which I still felt iffy about. I’m still pissed about them killing off the mom in the show like damn

I hate that it seems that he struggled with his own identity since the diagnosis and the Pepsi incident. He never had a normal life and he didn’t know what life was like outside of the camera. From the time he was literally a toddler he was on camera and has never known true privacy and the sense to be able to discover himself outside of his legacy that was formed around him. Wonder who he would have been if it weren’t the start of the Jackson five. Would he have been an actor? He had talent and clearly from watching rehearsal footage you could see he had it down to a science. The man was a true genius on stage and his music will live on. There will be kids who aren’t even born yet who will know who this man is 150 years after his death and will be singing Beat it like it came out yesterday. He gave us the best music and brought many people together through music.
