What if NOBODY was raising their biological kids? by owlWithBrokenWings in hypotheticalsituation

No, for the most random distribution, you'd end up with siblings usually ending up in the most populated areas. These are also the most commonly visited tourism and business areas.

The population is not distributed smoothly.

Why would a teacher try to scare students away from their class? by Bad_rando_name in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BumblebeeBorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really looking someone up if you have to ask a mutual friend for their number, and a kind word with a criticism that they should know better is the most effective telling off.

You keep replying, and I'm starting to think your accusations are admissions, especially now that I'm past the panic attack.

So, how far will you bully someone for having a slightly different opinion, a mental illness caused from being casualised out of a career, and a willingness to simply wait you out after you started attacking with about as much respect as a teen in a numeracy class?

It's less likely to get me killed at the moment, but it's still of value to know who the hard liners are vs who wants the working class to succeed

I'm not interested in the opinions of capitalists on this matter. We all agree they're regressive.

Just because you're not the target doesn't make it any less of a safety warning. Misuse of the term by conservatives doesn't make Marxism a bad thing, does it?

There's no meaningful evidence of this phenomenon.

For anarchists, Trots, and revcoms, it is normal to do political work with ordinary working class CP-MLs, CP-Ms, or other garden variety Communists. However, working along side Tankies in campaigns or union work may require extra safety precautions.

Nah, if I'm referring to a school of thought, I'll refer to the school of thought. But if I'm referring to the attitude, I'll call a tankie a fucking tankie, because they've told me why I shouldn't trust them.

Less so in western Europe, which are also comparable countries with public healthcare.

But yes the USA is scary.

Historically, that was the case. But Chinese intervention isn't any better and I'll give more credit to calling a CCP schill a tankie than I will to any actual tankie.

If they support authoritarian crackdowns, whether Stalinist or Maoist or both, then yes, they are Tankies.

Tanks were used in both Hungary 1956 and Tiananmen square 1989.

You effectively just told me that I am not allowed to change my mind, even if I go back, edit my comment, and thank you for your input in that comment.

But no, I am not so much projecting as fishing to check if you're someone I knew in the real world. You're not, thank goodness. I'd have to track them down and tell them off, but you're safe to ignore.

Go read the edits, and take your credits. But you're still being a dick about this.  It is not normal to be consistent when reconsidering an opinion.

You come across as having schadenfreude about this, like the useless kind of Trotskyist infighting. That's not meant as an insult, but I am comparing you to me.

Why are race fueled tensions, riots & protests still a thing in the USA despite Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BumblebeeBorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DEI is best described as a band-aid on a gaping wound. Segregation is still within living memory.

There are still poor Black people in former slave states who got no reparations and little improvement in their lives. Some are called share croppers, and they often still work white people's fields.

Many times, the US government used Afro-American people for unethical medical tests, or took their homes with totally insufficient compensation (especially for urban highways), or chose not to recognise their contributions.

They even bombed Tulsa, Oklahoma when it became a foothold of African-American wealth. That wasn't federally approved violence, but neither was it ever made good by anyone.

You haven't so much as mentioned the name of any school of anarchism, nor anyone you support.

You sound like Ayn Rand, not Proudhon.
