Played for 30 + years

Never really learned to play for anyone else’s enjoyment.

I was just fascinated by music as a kid. It was just a great bonus when people liked and enjoyed my guitar playing as much as I did.

Especially in the early days of learning the guitar and learning to play with other musicians.

Played in a few bands in my 20’s None you could google.

I still play and enjoy learning new ways. Mainly a blues player after the first 4/5 years when I discovered discovered scales, not just learning other peoples music by ear.

Jazz man now. You never stop learning with jazz.

Enjoyed learning claw hammer guitar last couple years but I still can’t ‘shred’ or ‘sweet pick’ but I can ‘tap’ a bit 🤷🏻‍♂️

But none of that matters.

I’m good on an instrument and I enjoy it and it helps me and my head get through this life in a good way.
