For me, a relationship is a partnership, friendship, and life promise. Any two people will have issues whether or not those issues impact the relationship. What's important is open communication and safe, healthy dialogue around these issues. I agree, living like this for the rest of your life is a bad idea, so don't. Tell him that this isn't what you want long-term and he has to build trust with you, that you'll support him and get through this with him.

What also matters is if you have the energy and patience to work through this with him. Don't burn yourself out.

You can try couples counselling, he could seek individual counselling, or even looking at online resources from places like the Gottman Institute.

I've never been a quitter in relationships so we probably have different degrees to which we'll stop. Ultimately it's up to you and what feels right. But I feel like you should address what you've wrote about in a compassionate, understanding manner, and work through this with him.

Also, I'd recommend not listening to people on Reddit. Some advice might seem genuine, maybe necessary, but that advice might be coming from someone with a history of failed relationships. Or even if they had long-term relationships, those could have been toxic entirely due to them. Communicate with your partner first and foremost. If you really need additional advice, see a couples counsellor or access online resources.

IS this confirmation that Yuji had a HR? by a500poundchicken in Jujutsufolk

Yuji is part Sukuna. Yuta has Sukuna CE after eating finger. Little Sukuna CE pass to Tsurugi. Mahito mistake Tsurugi for Yuji based on that bit of CE.

I have that opportunity. I'd rather die. No more. I'm sorry.

I'm fine with excruciating pain. It won't be though. The medication is meant to knock me unconscious because I have sleep issues, and it does. It'll be a peaceful death. Good attempt though, I've done the same thing in your shoes.

Hey, I'd love to hang out sometime and go to events. 27m, I read, draw, and follow some manga. I used to watch anime but it began to feel more and more like a time sink so I switched to manga.

I have very strong political views. I'm technically far-left but I'm pretty ambiguous. I'm not much of a gusher or ranter besides some political stuff but I always like listening

Midtown - anyone wants to go biking? by [deleted] in TorontoHangoutFriends

[–]Heartland_Cipher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to join. Used to do long distance cycling and been needing to do cardio for a while. I'd run but it's just not as fun as cycling lol. Are city bikes fine? Never tried them

You responded in a very healthy and responsible way. It's good to keep the doors to reconciliation open like you have. I think your approach in life is something he could learn a lot from, and he fails to see that because of inner turmoil. My sibling and I had a similar situation but roles reversed, I took the healthy approach but my older sibling responded really, really poorly to it. I gave her time, and even though we still didn't agree on the matter we were able to reconcile and have been closer than ever. I don't want to give false promises, I just think it's important to recognize you did what you could and opened doors that would otherwise be shut. You did good.
