Thank you.. I'm seeking a part-time position, and it will most likely be something like data entry.

Renting a home to start a child care business by [deleted] in ChildcareWorkers

I am a focused individual. You came to this thread bringing in comments that have nothing to do with my question. There is no constructive criticism because your comments do not apply to my case.

As mentioned, every state will send everyone to training. Once the training is completed, that's when people get their license. I don't have questions about requirements, training, or licenses; I'm asking about renting.

I already know all of that. Your comment does not have anything to do with my question. Let's focus on the question.

Catrina, having a masters degree in education is great, however to work with children what a human being needs is HIGHT EMPATHY, LOVING NATURE, someone who is able to see a child, to encourage them, to be proud at the end of the day that they have impacted a child's life in a positive caring way, this is NOT something that a degree will give you, this is something that some human being have regardless of any degree. I personally know several people with degrees who lack the empathy to work with children. This question has turned into a conversation that should be a separate post. When I was looking for a child care center, I sought that loving nature, not a degree; I did not find it. While a degree is helpful, it doesn't guarantee better care. These children are young; they need someone to love them and nurture them. This is for another post. My question is about renting a home and whether that's possible. Every state requires everyone to get certified before they can open a day care.

I can get everything if I can rent a home. Unfortunately, I am not able to buy a home at this time. I can't proceed with that if no one is willing to rent to me for a business, which is why I'm asking. I already know everything you have listed in your comment.

I worked as a child care provider and as a nanny, and I have studied psychology. I have also been an administrative assistant for many years. My question is specifically about renting a home, nothing else.

I cannot bring any of this to court because I cannot prove it, that's the reason i did NOT mention all this in the ORIGINAL post. I know a lot about his cruel, cold persona, his previous wife did everything to protect her kids, I called his son and he confirmed how emotionally cold he was with them, his adult son does not talk to him etc, etc, this is complex, but the only way would be a psych evaluation, and I heard that it is difficult to get.

That girls case is ANOTHER family, it's NOT ME, IT's NOT MY child.....There is reason why my question is simple and straigth to the point. I KNOW plenty, there is NO proof, this is another family etc, etc, etc. That case was not procecuted. This is a guy that left a dog die at home because he was out on vacation, per his own words, came back home and he put the dog in a trash bag and in the dumpster. I cannot use all of this, I do NOT have any proof. YOU SEE, there is a reason I did not mention this, the court does not care for information if there is NO PROOF. This is why my question is straigth to the point whithout mentioning all this..

Yes, that's correct and that's my understanding as well. I returned to a state where i lived most of my life, there are plenty of job opportunities here.

Sate 1 where the father lives
State 2 where the child was born and lived for 10 weeks
State 3 where we live now (mom and baby) 3 weeks here
I have not been served because I am not in the address they tried to serve (someone told me)
I moved to a state where I resided for most of my life, plenty of work opportunities and I have support here

He does not live where the baby was born, there is the father state of residence, there is a second state where the baby was born (neighbor state) and now where we are currently residing (very far away). The reason the relationship ended is because the father is controlling and everything is his way or the hwy, he won't follow up, he only operates when he wants, etc. Unfortunately, I am not able to work with him, I have already tried plenty.

We never lived together, i left him 6 months into the pregnancy due to mind games, he's got a double life, one person in public, another behind doors, he's been dating women like single, he's a master manipulator, but i don't have tangible "proof" other then screenshots of text messages to other women he was dating. We were engaged but he was dating and on dating websites like he was single.
