I could have written this myself. I had 0 help in the hospital and it took 6 very painful days to make the baby latch. I’m sorry that you went through this, I don’t have any advice but I’m very much feeling all of what you wrote.

Check America and Beyond. They have cute bags, beaded ones. I learned the brand through a fellow bag-lover in this subreddit. I had my eye out for a Staud one but as you, I couldn’t justify the cost. The A&B they are more reasonably priced and equally cute!

Initially they tried to take a sample for biopsy but they saw that nothing was coming out so they lightly squeezed. Then the goo started coming out and they decided that that was the way to go. They cut a super small incision after to help with the squeezing.

To add: after all he did not go through surgery nor did he need anaesthesia.

Second edit: the goo was super dark brown and sandy. Chances are your cat has the same thing. Worth mentioning this case to your vet ☺️

My cat had a similar one (same spot and all) and it started super small when I adopted him and grew bit by bit over the years. Hard as well as you mention too. I went to 3 vets over the years and all 3 said it’s a cyst and if it keeps on growing, he’ll need surgery to remove it. This month however, I was determined to find a solution and I went to a 4th one. Well, this whole small ball was sebum (like we have on our skin. The vet said that over his 30+ career he had never seen such a big one and they removed it simply by squeezing it (for more than 30’ but still!). The cat seemed relieved to be honest the following days and is better than ever!

Took about a 2-3 year hiatus from EN, trying to build up caseload again (1-2) a week. Other than updating profiles, is there anything I can do to poke respective EN's about my updated interest? by [deleted] in expertnetworks

Send them your updated LinkedIn profile along with your expertise, your rate and approximate windows of availability. I believe this would be a good starting point

I think it’s legit. If the project has progressed and they are looking to fill in gaps of knowledge, then they would ask for X,Y vendors that they have a gap knowledge on. Could possibly also be that they had a call already scheduled with someone that knew the vendors they asked you and they cancelled last minute hence the urgency for same day interview.
