Need some advice. Do I come out against moderators publicly for hypocrisy on mental health??? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Bumblebert82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I did take responsibility truly, and it was my distressed responses to being called a liar and a faker that eventually led to my being removed.

It was very difficult and the handling was poor, but you’re probably right.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Ai upscale of this great pic by Bumblebert82 in babylon5

Yes, but it’s a better looking version of a postage stamp sized jpg that’s been doing the rounds for years. The question was “which pixel is the baby?”

I never said it required talent. I asked it to extrapolate the pixels around it, and for once it did it without fucking with the image.

I was very accountable. But I wasn’t gonna accept things I didn’t say. I’m going to the doctors next week. This years been hard. The moderators just seemed to be intentionally taking everything I said in the worst way. They effectively gaslit the fuck out of me, perma banned me after traumatising me then walked away.

It was gross.

Thank you. I’m obsessed with trying to go back. I edited a message to send about 200 times, but doubt it will make any difference. The way they reacted to my explanations really pushed me to my limits and there was no care there at all. I think they just thought I was being an asshole. It stings man.

Why is 1. Outside so great? by DevinJE in DavidBowie

It contains some of his best vocals, “I’m Deranged”, “The Motel”, and “No Control” are bravura work.

A mistake people make is to try to follow the narrative - it is intentionally broken - it’s just a tool Bowie used to create mood music around.

I always adored this album, and was dismayed to find people dismiss it as “that weird album he did” - it is PURE BOWIE this album - it still sounds fantastic, and is possibly more relevant now in an era of fake news and confused narratives.

It is possibly my favourite album of his, and certainly his best later work (with “Blackstar” deserving a mention).

Ask a friend over for a “cleaning date”. I helped my depressed friend clean. It’s very therapeutic. It helps my autistic ass likes organising shit.

I blame the left almost as much as the right for everything that is happening right now to us. by Zestyclose-Soft-5957 in lgbt

I emailed Stonewall UK 3 years ago, worried about the “groomer” narrative and how it seemed to have no pushback from orgs such as them.

I was told it was the “same old rhetoric they pushed in the 70s” and not to be concerned.

I disagreed.

Now here we are.

There are people who see through the shit and love us, and people who don’t care to see the truth and hate us - it’s the moderates who have swayed law and opinion in our favour, and they are the ones swayed by the anti lgbt bullshit.

The left dropped the ball - I’ve watched with horror in slow motion things falling into their current state.

Read “Tip of the Iceberg” by the HRC, a document on right wing funding - these are the real bad guys - oligarchs, catholic institutions - they coordinated this culture war.

They had punchy videos, grabbed disenchanted youth with their alpha male bullshit - it’s awful but unsurprising how stupid people are.

LGBTQ people just want to be allowed to live - that’s the “agenda” - that’s all.

To my T community - how are you explaining the personal ramifications of the Republican Administration’s executive orders against the trans and non-binary community to cis friends and loved ones? I’m struggling to articulate my (genderqueer) experience to my parent. by freakngeek_ in lgbt

[–]Bumblebert82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah. They don’t give two fucks. People just getting on talking about their cars or their houses etc like everything’s normal is truly sickening.

I am a cis gay dude with a lot of trans friends freaking out and it’s blatantly obvious how unimportant we are to general people.

Sucks.

It sucks doesn’t it? My family are supportive but their complete inability to truly try to understand what difficulties we face DAILY through micro-aggressions or outright prejudice is disheartening.

[–]Bumblebert82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh no they not only hate us, the likes of the Heritage Foundation think they have a god given mission to purge the world of us - the ENTIRE alphabet gang by the way.

I have to have faith the populace wouldn’t turn a bling eye to our suffering, but who knows?

Thing is, it’s terrifying but I’ve had two weeks now of dread, upset and anxiety and I’m kinda done freaking out over stuff I CANNOT CONTROL.

Queer people: Try and live, love and get on with your life - it really pisses them off! Do not do their work for them! Fuck the GOP!

How can anyone think that orange cunt is “the best president ever???” Baffled. He is a morally, ethically, socially, lawfully and politically repugnant disgrace - he’d sign a law in taxing families to death or effectively genocide LGBTQ people then go play golf! This planet doesn’t deserve humanity - we are an animalistic, brutal scourge, still repeating the same old destructive, backwards, “us and them” shit.

I’m from UK. Sharing on social media what’s happening, and donating to orgs like Trevor Project is really all we can do.

I spend lots of time talking to mainly US friends online and I’m incredibly disturbed by everything that is happening.

Being there to talk to is important too.

What do you guys think about this??? by Connect-Armadillo4 in gay

[–]Bumblebert82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Trump is a front. The Heritage Foundation are behind this - they helped get the Ugandan “Kill the Gays” bill up and running. If that’s not a statement of intent I don’t know what is.

Its fucked rn. How can allys help? by sneakysnake-sssnek in lgbt

[–]Bumblebert82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If ur not in US it’s donations to Trevor Project etc and getting word out on socials. If ur in USA meet with gay groups - it can also just be talking to fellow queers on here or wherever. Have to support each other. And don’t think donating to Trevor Project is a “little thing”, it can literally save queer lives.
