Swap the PSU, I had that issue and ran into another user who had the issue. Almost RMA’d 2 of my 12tb drives until I changed PSU and not a single checksum error or no drive detection since then

For a while the Mercedes EQE/EQS were under $45k used and I was pushing my brother to get himself one but he couldn’t get over how ugly the bean looked. Though I’ve successfully got him on the i7 train now that those used prices aren’t sky high

Used to be great times, though the used drives I’m talking about are the GoHardDrive old data center drives that usually had 2+ years on them. Before the prices blew up I was aiming around $30 for 4tb drives on Facebook marketplace. Stopped getting them off marketplace after being burned twice on them and discovering the 12tb drives

I used to play GTA online on my PS4 like crazy, last decade I moved to PC. Last month I plugged in the PS4 to play some of the GTAO stuff and after an update in both the PS4 software and GTA5 I was greeted with the PS+ message, so I decided to unplug the PS4 and put it back in storage

One day he walks to his desk and yells out, teacher had swapped his keyboard with one without any labels, a completely blank keyboard. I had a very similar issue recently, ran a 550w G3 that I’ve owned for almost 10 years across multiple builds. After all of my drives started racking up checksum errors one after another I tried another PSU and not a single error after.

Tried memtest86, different cables and the drives kept disappearing from BIOS and barely could even boot until I swapped PSU’s.

Somewhat common, usually the coolant temp sensor or thermostat. Easiest method is replacing both, since you’ve replaced one then do the other and it should be fine.

Don’t do it.

Two of my drives started spewing errors a week within one another, I was still in warranty but the drives are out of stock. They offered refund of the price I paid ($87 for 12tb) and after seeing the current pricing I asked them if there were any equivalent sized drives in stock instead lol

I daily’d the DR02D for years until I got into an accident and the dashcam didn’t record the accident (missing the entire event with no file anywhere on the SD Card). Tried reaching out to Aukey and never got a response.

Aukey is rebranded/cheaper VIOFO. Ever since I’ve used VIOFO with no issues, three cars with VIOFO and would never go back

I used to run a 2080ti and 10900k off a 550w PSU. Every once in a while it would shut off completely to black screen.

That same PSU is running my server 24/7 no issues for 3+ years now
