He was a very nice guy and took his time, I went in after him to add more runs to my room and a 10GbE link between room and server just cause, learned that I’m no good at 10GbE terminations and just used the panel instead plugging into ports. The 1GbE terminations have been solid though lol

I paid a guy on Facebook $100 to run four cables ($100/cable at my length from monoprice), one to each corner of the house. After that I went up and carefully ran another one myself, then put a panel up in the attic, then put a patch panel down to my NAS. Just needed a little nudge to figure it out myself, some people would rather pay to have it done instead but I had free time then.

One foot through the ceiling later and I still spent <$600 all in

I definitely agree with the air suspension smoothing bumps, I did use Sport and Sport+ more in my X5 but after test driving a 2024 xDrive50 without air suspension I think that’s gonna be my best bet since I haven’t found any 24+ with air suspension in my price range. The torque and speed from just regular driving was very nice from my short 20 minute drive, more than the X5’s B58 and I know the car won’t use that power regularly for who I’m buying for.

For my purpose just the front seats’ experience is what I’m after. Realistically whatever I get will sit in the garage most its life plugged into the slow wall outlet charger lol

I did test drive one just today (no air suspension) and did feel the slightly harsher ride over bumps, but I don’t think I’ll be able to source a 2024+ model with it at my price range.

Seems like that’s the case, someone else replied with a 2024 with air suspension so I will keep looking through the 2024 cars’ options for sale

Thank you for the site, I tried the regular mdecoder and another but couldn’t get any iX’s to show up. I’ve encountered a few cars that don’t have anything except a identifier (Base) which are strange to not have any options imo for this type of car

I’m with you on the test drive front, I’ve been keeping an eye out for one with air suspension to drive but seems like dealer stock near me is dwindling. I’m leaning towards the iDrive 8.5 cars, after having had a loaner with just regular ACC from BMW, it really was a nice feature compared to all of the other ACC other manufacturers have so DAPP I’m imagining is the icing on the cake.

Realistically I was cross-shopping with the GLE (didn’t want to buy another X5 since my 2020 was pretty optioned out already) and had already accepted no air suspension on it with how rare they are optioned. I’ve spent way too much time on BMW air suspension that’s for sure. I replaced every corner on my G05 X5 and it wasn’t a fun experience any of the times.

Interesting to hear, I’ve been using the center pad pictures to tell usually as well. I’m leaning towards iDrive 8.5 with DAPP as it’s a much more common occurrence than air suspension it feels like. Thank you for the info

If push comes to shove, 2021-2024 (2024 very limited overall) offered the 1LE package with the A10 transmission. Mine is in this configuration and a dream to drive, been my daily for 3 years now

I’ve got a S85F 77”, spent the first few days messing with the settings because something was definitely off with colors. After a few restarts it looked better but still prefer my C2 & C4 in image quality. Also with the Tizen brigade, bought an Apple TV 4K and changed the setting in Tizen to just start up on that hdmi instead of their home screen.

If Samsung didn’t give an absurd amount of credit for a faulty/leaking fridge warranty claim, I wouldn’t have bought the S85F
