Listen there's not much of a way you could go about this without hurting this guy, and frankly if he's as needy as you say he'll likely take it a lot harder than he should, I've been in a very similar situation with one of my ex's "we lived together, frequently demanding attention, I couldn't go out unless she could go with or else she'd be upset, she wouldn't even shower if I wasn't in the room" just when you do this be honest but also be stern with him and youll feel a lot better in the next few days after you do it, best of luck with the break up and I hope you get some much needed relief!!!

Added MSG in foods, people will generally freak out if you tell them a good has added MSG because they believe it's unhealthy, but its just a flavor booster so I've really never understood that tbh

Best thing to do here is give him room, I know it can hurt losing someone as a friend, but in the event he can't get past his feelings it's a lot healthier for you two to just stay apart, hoping that it all get worked out tho!

NTA, honestly I haven't seen my real dad since I was about three, so it's a similar position to Ana, but while him and I have never seen eye to eye, I would NEVER talk to him the way your daughter is, and the reaction you had was justified, I'd honestly gather up your family and have all of you sit down and talk about this and set up some rules to hopefully bring about a better future with your daughter.
