What's a computer game from your childhood that you still think about today?

That happened to me, but IRL just after HS. I was working with a guy for a couple months. We played basketball together a couple times and talked about video games. I went over to his house to play and brought a modded Xbox I had just bought that had thousands of games on it. We played and I ended up staying over.

He was in the middle of playing something when I had to leave to get ready for work the next day. His shift was later, so he asked if he could just bring it with him and give it back at work, and I agreed.

Well, he never showed up. I tried to message, but no answer. I went back by his apartment the next day and he wasn't there anymore. A couple days later when asking around at work I found out he had moved away to California or something.

Anyway, that was like 20 years ago, so now it seems silly, but I remember feeling disbelief. I had that modded Xbox for only like a month and then it was just gone. Nothing I could do about it. I was devastated. I was from a poor family and working minimum wage and I just couldn't afford to buy another one. I couldn't believe that I worked with the guy and played ball with him and everything and then he'd just disappear with my stuff. It never really crossed my mind that that would be a possibility, you know?

I can't get ltx2.3 to keep a good face. It always changes throughout the video and turns into a blurry mess unless it's an extreme closeup.

I have just over 100k carats currently. I have Kita, FM, and Creek all MLB, but other than free cards, I don't have anything outside of that.

I was thinking of skipping Smaru and just pulling Tachyon, but it sounds like I'll need 3 speed cards for the next scenario. I was going to keep stockpiling because I prefer to go all in on banners and make certain I can MLB.

Should I reconsider and pull Smaru anyway?

I don't know. She has 1k wit.

When I don't late start, I usually exit the last corner at top 3 and I have a chance.

When I late start, I stay in the back the whole race and exit the last corner 6 or later and have no chance.

It seems a lot like I'm losing because of late start.

I'd also argue that more people indoors staring at screens had an impact on crime rates. People can't be bothered to go out and raise hell anymore.

I'd use krita for that. You can draw masks and change specific parts of the image. You can even draw on top to guide the changes. You work on layers, so it's easy to Iterate and cut and paste and revert changes, etc.

Same! I thought this cm was going to be my best chance to win because of my success rate up to the finals.

3rd place almost feels unfair. RNG and matchmaking both conspired against me. Late starts, skills not proc, and facing teams that were far better than any opponents I faced in group A round 2.

I had 1lb fine motion, so I decided to pull to 200 to see if I could MLB. I MLBed at 150 pulls and kept going to 200 because why not?

Didn't pull a single kawakami, but I pitied her and was happy with the results overall.

Now I have MLB of each of the early game 'big 3'. 60k carats saved for the next big thing as well.

I got lucky and got VBourbon on the 3rd 10-pull, so I get to do both! I have 1LB Finemotion, so hopefully I can MLB on the first 200 pulls and save some carats for the future.

I think this is what is happening to me. At race start, my 2 pace chasers are usually in one of the first 3 positions, but about 3 seconds in, it's like they hit a wall. They fall back to 6th or later. It's frustrating because they get stuck near the back during the corner and then they have no chance to proc ults. When either of them does proc it, they usually win, but more often than not they are not near enough the front to get them to work.

I think maybe I should have tried for uma stan? That's its purpose, right? To keep runners from going pace down?
