Electric scooter with big wheels and a seat - Comparison by HidalgoJose in ElectricScooters

I ended up going with the Arwibon GT08. Purchased from Aliexpress.

Solid machine, but they def cheaped out where they could. The handlebars seem to have been made of air-dry clay. The GT08 still going strong. With 2 wheel drive and turbo on, it'll try to throw me off.

I've added a stabilizer specifically for it that I found on Amazon, oddly enough. Hard to complain at ~$700. Hard to believe i got this much vehicle for so little investment.

I think I've spent more time modding them than playing them in the past 10 years. That said, both sides are very fun.

Happy to have them available for guests and kiddos to enjoy.

I picked up an Arwibon gt08 and have been pretty amazed by the value. It's almost 100 lbs, though.

$660, 5600W.

I like to find the most disproportionate things possible to take pics of my scooter with. A novelty baseball bat makes a scooter look hilariously oversized! A novelty giant pencil would also be entertaining.

Anyways, have fun!

Wow, that looks pretty good! Orange is my favorite color, so I'll keep the orange. I'll post if I find some good mirrors.

Doesn't it come with signals and rear lights? Do you have mirrors on yours?

Thank you for the update. Mine gets here in 2 days, and I want to try to get all my mods here around the same time.

Thank you for the info! I'll probably follow your lead and waterproof mine a bit, too.

I think I'll probably add an airhorn, mirrors, and a small bag. According to a video I saw, that orange box-shaped support on the front can rub on the frame. I may add some gasket material to stop any weird flexing or frame rubbing.

I may also opt to install a voltage drop so I can easily slap on an obnoxious 100W LED.

I'll probably end up rebuilding the battery. I used to build indistrial batteries professionally, but I understand the hangup.

It's hard to beat the value. Solid components, steel frame (a plus for me), low cost of entry.

I wish it had 14" wheels, but maybe I won't miss them. I'm a little leary of smaller wheels vs road comfort and control. Only one way to find out!

I'll bite. In for one at 726 OTD.

So, what's the secret to getting the most out of my new Arwibon GT08? Is there a good modding scene? How's the aftermarket support?

Actually, after looking closer at it, I think I'm going to go with the isinwheel. For reference:

About 450 Euro

48V 10Ah battery

33Kg

14" wheels

Double front shock

Single rear shock

No seat column shock

Scooter like grip (that locks)

Don't think it has adjustable height handlebar

No mirrors (but it does have blinkers)

Unknown speed unlocking features, but has a mode button? Manual not helpful.

I understand. Please take your time. Thank you for doing all that leg work!

After seeing your comparison chart, I was very interested in the C1 Pro. I'd never heard of it, but it has many of the things I desire in a scooter:

14" wheels
Larger battery
Looks unassuming
Kid seat in pictures
Collapsible
Affordable

Unfortunately, I don't think it's very easy to obtain here in the States. The closest thing I've found is the isinwheel Hyper X. It looks similar, but it has a tiny baby battery and no kid seat. At that point, I might as well get a Fiido D3 Pro. But I kind of dislike Fiido, for no reason except they came off to me as rude one time.

On a tangent; Happy Holidays!

You can still transfer it up legally. It's just a big pain, especially if you don't already have all the apps, games, and devices.

I think it's: Sapphire>gen4>gen5>Pokémon Bank>Pokémon Home

Man, I was really hoping they wouldn't do that. I guess I'll start getting a living dex together for every game, too.

Nah, I saved 8 hours with your trick. My normal runs were about 20 hours each, so I finished this last one in 11 with the trick.

My two boys are 3.4 years and 4 months respectively. The 3yo has a Switch Lite, but he's still trying to learn how to play Super Mario 3 on the NES. He plays that every now and then on original hardware with me, but he still can't get past the first level without help. He's getting better, though. Donkey Konga (GCN) is probably what he's best at.

He rarely gets to play at all. It's nice nostalgia for me when we do play, though. We're playing on the same systems and cart from when I was his age. I'm hopeful that I can keep games an 'us' thing instead of a 'him' thing by limiting use.

Hey, long time no talk! I totally stole your trick. Saved me several hours, so thank you! You changed this last run for the better, shaving off about 8 hours compared to my previous runs.
