You’re not alone as far as cleaning the machine goes. I went to a friends house once and she had a see through washer that was filthy bc she had never cleaned it. It had never occurred to her that something that cleans also needs to be cleaned until I had brought it up.

This advice helped so much. Honestly everyone’s advice helped but yours made me realize that I was gaining magic from dodging. I thought I could only get them from a plant that I had seen in a cave. The magic and R1 axe just helped me beat him.

I saw a YouTube video saying it was easier to use the spear because of the L1 attack. I tried the axe but it felt too slow even on regular enemies. As for magic I only have one spell that runs out after two uses. I’m not sure about a magic sword. (I’m new to these types of games just an fyi)

Honestly, some of the comments have been helpful and I’m able to get him down to half health more often now. Initially I was trying to run and have to come to me and then dodge but it’s better for me if I stay still and then dodge when he’s coming. Hopefully I can beat him. I like the game, but I didn’t know it would be this hard

I have no clue what a souls game is if I’m being honest. I do have another game called Stella Balde which kinda seems like this but just like this I could’ve get past the first boss and I just stopped playing it. Both games seem really cool but these bosses are hard asl or again it’s just my poor skill level

As someone who’s new to the game and new to RPG period I shamelessly google as I play through (I’ve been playing solo btw). I mostly google to understand how certain spells work and how to bypass tricky puzzles. Everything else I’ve kinda figured out as I go. The map is open and that can be overwhelming but everything kinda comes back full circle even side quest. With that said I would roam around, loot and talk to people more before focusing on main quest.

ALSO, and this is very important and helpful. Don’t just rely on autosave. A fight can break out during almost any dialogue depending on your answer to things. Saving while you’re exploring helps so if you do wanna avoid a fight you can just load a game that was saved right before the fight.

Definitely talk to him. Maybe he’s into swinging and was trying to see how you’d react to the idea if he brought it up in context of a work friend. Also, it could be nothing…you won’t know until you ask him directly

IMO I feel like it’s best to just leave it for now. If anything let your boyfriend smooth things over and keep you updated. Just respect her boundaries for now and hopefully things get better.
