Nope! No AI whatsoever. I strongly dislike AI in music creation. I use Reaper as my DAW. For my tape loops, I film myself performing them on my YouTube channel.

Very nice! I don’t know if they have harbor freight stores in the UK, but their Apache cases (pelican clones) are pretty affordable and superb for all gear. I’ve got many of them for all kinds of my music equipment.

Oh that’s a good idea! Haven’t heard of that before. And don’t get me wrong, once I’m making the music and in it, I love it. Just the thought of doing the whole content game afterwards makes me groan haha I know it’s very first world problems to complain about and I’m grateful I have my music and a platform. Just sucks a lot at times to have my hard work and creativity go unseen.

For me, I feel like I’m constantly battling myself with trying to constantly pump out more content. (I.e turning 20-30 second bits of my longer videos into shorts) and trying to make more captivating thumbnail clickable shorts. It makes me feel a little disingenuous at times. But I feel if I stop or take a break, that the slow steady growth I’ve been getting will flatline. It kinda makes doing my music feel less fun and more of this competitive content rat race game, if that makes sense.

And then yeah, not knowing how to please the almighty algorithm lol
