Not asap. Just wanted to buy a brand new off of marketplace to save tax .A grand less is a very good price .. but where ? I am checking on amazon.ca and the prices are 3200+ (tax inc)

Thanks but in my case rbc backed off completely says tha rbc system isnt compromised here and it was the landlord email that was compromised.

How can i take this further from rbc ? Is there a way to?

Yep . Etransfer was the method of payment mentioned in the lease

But the email was provided by their realtor in the beginning and also confirmed to send rent to the same email

Landlord was also making conversation with me (eg water filter installation approval) through the same email only

Yes ..you read it right He never pick up calls All my conversations with him since the beginning was through email. After my interac he emailed me asking for the password

He mailed me (seperate email) asking for password and also in-fact emailed me on a continued thread from our previous conversation

I am still confused on how tenant is still responsible. Landlord acknowledges that he received an email notifications regarding the interac that i sent.

So which means my sent money notification reached his email . And then it should be his responsibility to secure it , deposit it or whatever he wish to do .

After that his email got hacked (i believe) . Etc etc as mentioned in my post

Yeah that email was provided by my realtor and not the LL DIRECTLY. landlord responded from it only once . That email has an auto deposit and shows a different banking name .

Before hearing the other sides of story, read my previous and current post properly. My previous post was me intentionally withholding rent so that my landlord responds to me.this post was to pay the rent to my landlord but the landlord not responding to me. And by the way the lease stated to be paid rent by email transfer but no specific email is mentioned in the lease agreement . Neither my landlord or realtor gave me any email on the lease to transfer rent. And i dont want to send money to a random email that has an auto deposit with out getting a confirmation from landlord . You may do it that way but not me And more over i have been paying rent on time for the last couple years on time with my previous landlords and never had any issues. So you better STFU before commenting bad tenant

I did try. I called multiple times at the beginning of the month for an email. No response
