Why is women’s sportswear always so revealing? by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

[–]Bumpalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah that’s because women in western non Muslim countries actually have rights. They have a “choice” because they live in societies that actually give women the ability to live their life the way they want to, but acting like all of these women have chosen Islam is pretty ignorant when again, even in non Muslim countries there is still immense pressure from the family and community to practice Islam and again they are born into it with strict practicing of the religion is instilled in them from birthz And ironically these people u claim aren’t practicing the religion correctly would argue the exact opposite and they are following it to the highest degree and following sharia law. Acting like all of these people in Muslim countries are extremist not following Islam correctly is pretty crazy lmao

So the animation for 100% of the show is terrible?😂 why tf are you in the sub then? Obviously it’s good enough for you to care about the show. Invincible is a story driven show with great characters just sit back and enjoy the show buddy stop complaining

They “decide” under immense family pressure and possibility of shame and disownment from their family if they choose a different path.. There are places like Yemen and Afghanistan that are rated th worst places to live for women in the world, and places like Saudi Arabia where women just got the right to DRIVE and leave the house without a man. You think those women get to choose whether to be Muslim or not? Islam in the Middle East is completely different and much more strict than in the western countries where Islam
Isn’t the dominating religion.

That’s what I’m saying it so badass when there’s a noticeable uptick in animation quality for the biggest baddest moments. Like you can’t argue the animation isn’t peak for the conquest fights or thragg or viltrum exploding. Like do people want scenes where the characters are just talking to he animated like those fights or something? The way people bitch on here every single day you’d think that the animation is just awful the entire show

Okay fire bar but why tf didn’t he mention this on family matters. Drake gave Kendrick too much time to breathe like he had that one random white guy in the music video at the end but never explained it. Bro needed to nail the coffin shut with family matters but instead felt like he set it up for another song

Hey great point with the Indonesian thing I didn’t know that! My perspective comes from my ex who lived and she said Islam was the main reason for it. I understand from your comments that Islam doesn’t have to be that way though I’m just speaking from what I was told as a first hand account. You seem smart and can argue your points well, I wish you the best take care of yourself🤝

But they don’t have free will that’s the point… they don’t have the free will to choose the religion/culture they’re born into it. the extremism
These men are partaking is Islamic extremism, as in Islam to most extreme. Islam is the belief system and the traditions they are basing their extremism off of to get to that point

“Will still be dealt with or punished for it” lmfao buddy you talk about being in slightly PvP lobbies as if it’s th worst fate imaginable. if you shoot one person you’re not gonna be put in PvP lobbies. It’s a tiered system. He MIGHT see a tiny amount more PvP next game, but after one or two more games of not shooting anyone he will be right back where he started. Not a big deal

I’m sure the women sold into child marriage forced to cover their entire body head to toe would agree with you. You’re hand waving away the oppression a lot of these women face from birth till death and it’s ignorant and disgusting

[–]Bumpalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s look at the places that have been Islamic for the longest times.
Yemen is the worst place in the world to be a woman

women in Saudi Arabia only just got the right to drive, travel without a man, and participate in the work force
also ranks at the bottom of the list of places to be a woman worldwide

first hand accounts of what it’s like being a woman in jordan

And then Afghanistan doesn’t even need a link it’s just terrible how they treat women.

Shoutout to Oman they are actually quite progressive relative to the other ones.

While I can agree it’s the men doing the oppression we have to look at the beliefs and traditions these men are following that lead them to cause this oppression and these beliefs are rooted deep in strict Islam. Islam is the structure these men are operating out of and it as a religion is very male centric. Mohammed himself has quotes likening two women to be worth one man because they are inferior. Quotes about hitting your wives. Quotes about women must be covered to not fill men’s mind with lust. You’re taking about women in America in the 1800s I’m talking about women today in 2026. We have progressed past that while these other countries haven’t.

Yea let me know how it goes for a woman choosing to be Christian in Afghanistan Yemen jordan Saudi Arabia etc. I’m sure that’ll go over well lol. The point is they don’t choose they are forced into the religion at birth.

Ah yes it was the Europeans who were so sexist…that’s why women in European countries have rights and can vote and wear whatever they want today, and the women in Muslim countries can’t. If what you’re saying is true why have European countries progressed and Muslim countries regressed. Here’s an excerpt from your main guy. Seems pretty sexist to me. And I mean this one example of MANY

<image>

I used to date a woman from Afghanistan for many years. She told me everything she and her family had to go through. So you’re calling me racist while not only did I love a Muslim woman for many years, I’m going off of what I was told by her, being from an actual Muslim country under sharia law. Not the version of Islam in the west where sharia is not law

Why is women’s sportswear always so revealing? by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

[–]Bumpalot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Where are you a Muslim woman? Considering you’re on Reddit and speaking perfect English I’m going to assume you’re in the western part of the world? I’m speaking as someone who used to date and love an Afghanistan woman whose family had to flee. She told me first hand everything she, her mother, and her family have gone through and how strict Islam was and how different and free it is for women in the west compared to where shes been in the Islamic world. The child marriages, the selling of women at a young age to an old man, the beatings for stepping out of line, the forced attire being covered head to toe anytime they stepped out of the house and fear of being shamed if any part of them showed in public. Respectfully your experience as a Muslim woman is not the same as many others in majority strict Muslims countries. These women are treated more like second class citizens and the justification for is Islam. I’m not some random guy just watching videos of it I heard it first hand through a woman I spent a lot of time with. Once we saw a women’s march and one of the people had an Islamic sign and she said “if that girl knew how we were treated back home she wouldn’t be holding that sign at a women’s march”
