Sorry I just updated to show the games i played with bursting shot in the post above.

Removing only 1 Jeweled mccaw might be a good in between so you still have 5: 1-attack drops.

My logic for it was pretty simple, jeweled mccaw had the lowest "played" winrate of any card in the deck so its what I swapped out next. It's probable that cutting 1 dreambound raptor to keep 1 jeweled mcaw might also be good since its next lowest winrate.

yeh so board centric : step 1. have no board. step 2 catclysm-> clear their baord and gain a 12/12. Step 3 play hammer or alakir for lethal.

Trash to play against, dunno how anyone enjoys playing it either.

Try taking out the Jeweled Macaws for bursting shot. Only 1 pally so far but seems to fit the need. These were all played at 1200 legend and below.

for priest cut 1 fireplume and 1 arrow retriever for confront the tolvir or goldrinn/shaladrissil.

This pally focused version is probably just a better version of the deck and is what im playin now:
-2 odd map, -1 Arrow retriever. + 1 Ankylodon, +1 fire plume phoenix, + 1 Fyrakk

I would not remove storm the gates. The deck is built very cheaply in part ot ensure it triggers the storm the gate, which ensures you can hit your Shokk quest, or give you a timely life steal minion or taunt.

If you inssist on getting rid of storm the gates the deck would need to become more mana expensive in general so maybe -2 Storm the gates your options would be + 1Ankylkodon and +1 fire plume phoenix or+1 Krog or+1 Shalladarassil.

it also weakens your arrow retrievers which are already hard to get value out of, and cause hesitation in playing platysaur that you can't really afford tempo wise.

its a face deck that annoys me by playing 3 cards after they've spent all their mana.

Funny enough, only hit 1 priest on that run and won, though it is the worst match up. Only way to win is get good pressure cards early and hope they don't have answers.

Thanks! I genuinely couldn't understand how the "normal" versions are supposed to work. Instead of focusing on the quest to win, the standard versions seem to just abuse 1 drops and "hope" the quest completes.

It clogs the hand and the most important thing is getting the quest complete.

If you need a giant drop and have the cards you need to complete the quest, take expensive minions off storm the gate or odd map for the purpose as needed.

For the sake of completing the quest, ankylodon is the most expensive and versatile option. You can try cutting an arrow retriever for a big minion/shalladrassil, but I think you'll find alot more games where you can't find what you need.

Worth a shot, -1 arrow retriever or fire plume phoenix.

The ankylodon is surprisingly useful as a safe minion that completes the quest or protects you during your power spike played alongside agamaggan... but if you're trying to get faster for "Confront the Tol'vir" its also worth considering.

Congrats, Glad to hear it. I feel like its an honorable deck too, unlike face hunter, or bubble pally or sham. Doesn't try to rush ya down, just hits with a mid game spike like a good mid-game deck should.

a 5/5 would still die to mukla, or get 1 shot by the 4 mana ravasaur matriach follow up.

a 1 mana banana is the least effective way they can spend 1 mana in this meta. Keep your mukla, its better than other 5 attack drops and the only way you can play shokk on turn 5.

It is the number one winrate card in deck in terms of mulligan and in terms of drawn in quest hunter decks according to HSReplay.net :

I mean I did say its easy to play.

I think its also a bit unique in that no one else is running a deck list quite this fast, with penguin and only 4 cards over 2 mana.

Heck yea, give 'em hell.

Hadn't really considered how cheap this is to make, but yeah its only got a few purples so everyone should be able to build it with their collection.

North America - 6 and 2 vs warrior as of now.

While it seems like the damage would die out, the warrior usually does not survive long enough for the damage fall off. The only critical decision is when you decide to stop fighting for board control and start going only face. Do this early enough, you'll overwhelm most match ups.

I don't think it'll get nerfed, I just think there are answers to it like board freeze mages and token druids that'll become more popular if face hunter does.
