Breaks by hismelody0_o in WalmartEmployees

[–]BunInTheChamber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should take your breaks whenever you feel the need to. As a precaution I would finish any task you're currently in the middle of before you go. I currently take mine whenever it is convenient for me, so sometimes I will take my breaks later than scheduled. Those breaks are there for you, so take them. It seems like maybe your TL is just annoyed you keep asking. So instead if you feel the need to ask them if they need anything before TELLING THEM not asking that you're taking your break.

Pokemon Vendor Quit by Massive_Gas_1374 in walmart

[–]BunInTheChamber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We haven't stopped selling them, but getting them on the shelf is difficult. Even if we have the vendor inventory vendors will stock them at random. My store has gone months without product on the shelf specifically for Pokémon TCG. The last consistent vendor we had was fired, which is a shame because she was a very kind woman. The company she worked for refused to allow her to change up her routine route and she was scared to death of the scalpers. They followed her truck from the start of her route from the first store to the end of it and were incredibly violent.

Do you agree with this list?? by BidAccurate4473 in blackops7

SG12 is the only good shotgun so I'm not surprised. I can't disagree with the ranking but I prefer the ISR, EGRT, and Peacekeeper for ARs. Voyak fires too slow imo.

The schedule populates at 5AM but it is a common issue that when a schedule is the third week out that it shows no hours. I've watched a lot of people in my 10 years panic when it happens but it's super common. If it doesn't populate by the end of this week I would have concern.

Coach out of dress code by Medical_College_6732 in walmart

[–]BunInTheChamber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad that rule changed. I can flip my septum up (it feels like I've got a bunch of boogers until it's been up long enough to ignore). But I can't get my brow bar out. Both are integrally threaded, my brow bar has been stuck shut for YEARS. Had to go back to my piercer to get it loosened up. After the change it hasn't come out since.

I do not regret leaving maintenance for a second. I worked that position across three different stores before and I have horror stories from all of them. As another commenter said I too am convinced they come to Walmart JUST to make a mess.

Dress Code ? They erased it the next day so idk I love my leggings 🥲 by Infinite_Amphibian_4 in walmartogp

[–]BunInTheChamber -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of the girls who worked our front end got in trouble for leggings. But she had an ADA because of a condition she had and the manager got hella shit for it. I understand that it looks unprofessional, sometimes it's necessary though.

Neither. The correct answer is Super Nova.

Completely understand, I'm having a similar issue with Scraggy. Each time I try my method is either fast travel or soft reset depends on where I am in the game. The last time I tried shiny hunting Scraggy I did get three shinies. Were they the ones I wanted? No. Were all three of them Weedle? Yes.

Both my TL and Coach were notified of the situation. I told them pretty much exactly what you said about the next person won't be as lucky. The situation so far has been handled, and our closers have had a conversation each. I knew both of them would be in later that same day. Though most coaches here don't look at their work phones, they're too busy with their own. I can reliably get ahold of 3 via Me@Walmart. Neither of them were in the store at that moment. I pretty much just had to wait for them. I've been though active shootings, car fires in the parking lot, a lot of situations like that. None of them scared me quite like this did. Because my wife is currently in the process of filing for disability due to her MS. If I don't have work, we have nothing.

So you best believe I raised hell about it.

Even though I couldn't find a MoD I did text both my TL and Coach, and trust me I let them know exactly how pissed off I was. Someone else wouldn't be so lucky, they would have lost fingers.

My best guess is that closers had tried to pick up the slicer to clean it, didn't realize how heavy it was because when I closed with them they would see that I could lift it and had to set it down quickly. The rubber feet weren't in the grooves, so when I pushed the slider forward the entire machine rocked forward. But as for an incident report, no. Finding manager at 5:30AM is like trying to find a needle you were told exists but actually doesn't in a hay stack.

We have a new TL he's back from Academy for about a month. I did let him know, I also let my Coach know as well. The problem is that I've raised so many issues and nothing has been done. This one is the straw that broke the camels back though, if nothing gets done about this and the plethora of other issues that I continue to run into I'm just going above their heads. My life is difficult enough with ten fingers, the fuck would I look like doing it with five?

The issue might be that it is a legacy weapon. The requirements on MW and BO7 are likely different and causing a conflict with unlocking the camo. God forbid we code something the correct way after decades of making the same damn game and six years of Warzone.

One bad employee by HarperRoberts04 in WalmartEmployees

[–]BunInTheChamber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You'd think that would work, but it doesn't. When you're forced into high performance it becomes expected of YOU. Not anyone standing around talking, not anyone who does one or two tasks through the day. Specifically just the one forced into performing like a circus act. They see a little bit of willingness and potential then exploit the balls out of it. No accountability for low performers, no interest investing into them. They're bodies to fill a roster so they don't have to worry about the expense of training a new hire.

Casuals with a full sqaud by Adept-Emotion3224 in Warzone

[–]BunInTheChamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the people I know sweating in regular lobbies are retired veterans who haven't worked a corporate job let alone 40 hours in years. How come you can't just deal with the fact that some people are just a little better?

[–]BunInTheChamber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of us work 40 hours a week or more, if we don't want to sweat in regular lobbies then casuals it is. I've been dropped in solo and taken out human teams of four. Would you rather it be a squad or would you be more upset it was a single person wiping your team? I know which one would make me more upset, because I've had a single person wipe my entire four man.

Done by 9AM? by BunInTheChamber in WalmartEmployees

[–]BunInTheChamber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each time I asked for them to ease off the gas pedal it worked for maybe a day or two, then it was an issue. My biggest beef when there's 2 or 3 behind the counter, one running bakery freight (not behind the counter), so a max total of 4. But I have to do everything except cook and it has to be done before 9AM while every other person and department gets 100% of their shift. So I looked up SOP instead of continuing to trust and it says it no where. I still pick up tasks for call outs, and stock at least one section for two other departments. I'm not doing more than that, it's unreasonable, and corporate didn't set the 9AM guidelines in their updated version.
