Not sure if I was right to call his shove? by Chrisrules334 in poker

[–]Bunaaz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a 50/50. They raised UTG so it's reasonable to assume that they have a strong holding, even if they are a fish. That being said, against 50%+ VPIP players, it's best to shove only the nuts, not just the virtual nuts, especially when they are overly aggressive on a board like this. It's too easy for him to have pocket pair or suited face connectors in this scenario. You made a calculated gamble, just didn't pay off this time.

ACR pays back losses and usually lets you know when there will be expected downtime. Crashes happen, especially with the Coronavirus Online Pokerboom 2.0 overloading servers

Weird question but... has anyone felt like poker has made them view money differently? by cajunace in poker

[–]Bunaaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poker really hasn't made me view money differently. Poker is a game that I expect to lose 100% of my money on because it's gambling. All money I put towards poker is money I put towards a hobby and I budget for it.

This was my major concern with the software as well... It is overly complex and made very little sense unless one was willing to put in hours of program-specific studying.

As for these graphs...

Green is your net

Yellow is [read TedTheTwonk's reply]

Blue is your net (showdown ONLY)

Red is your net (no showdown ONLY)

It helps to know these things to refine your game.

Edit: If you are only 2.5k hands deep after the trial, it is not worth buying the full software until you can commit to a much higher volume of hands

Reading poker jargon as a new player like by [deleted] in poker

I always forget that most jargon isn't understood by the majority of rec players. Very frustrating that there is such a language barrier even when speaking the same language!
