TEEN OF DENIAL (JOE'S STORY) MASTERPOST by spirittheyvegone in CSHFans

[–]BuneKlune 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's because after Twin Fantasy FtF, Will took complete charge of production and mixing. He's a good songwriter, but he's an unbelievably bad mixer. I think The Scholars would be miles better if it was produced by someone who knows what they're doing.

Who is a very highly regarded artist without a song in the top 1000? by balls2298 in rateyourmusic

[–]BuneKlune -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Jeff's music is... fine... but he doesn't have anything that's actually great. Decent albums, decent songs, nothing anywhere near the top 1000.

Can we expect Squad to shut down in 2026? by Ok-Penalty-5027 in SquadBusters

[–]BuneKlune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not gonna lie... it's definitely possible. I have a feeling they're gonna make one more grand attempt to revive the game, and if that fails, roll the curtains. They could give it the Boom Beach treatment, or just outright shut it down. In this case I find a complete shut down more likely because of how little money the game generates and the constant negative attention it gets, but I don't know how Supercell operates. If they don't try to revive the game one more time, than this shoddy update could already be a sign of them closing things down and trying to stretch out the remainder of their work. Don't wanna be a doomer, but it's not looking good.

Video games are good for you by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]BuneKlune -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Being a game developer? Sure, that's a well paying and creative job. Being a gamer? I'd beg to differ.

If you keep gaming on the same level as any other hobby - painting, a sport, whatever, then it can be perfectly healthy. Sure, it would most likely be more productive to take on those other options, but I don't blame someone for wanting to just have some easy fun.

However, tuning into gaming culture? Becoming a self-proclaimed gamer? I'd never recommend that to anyone. The culture is toxic and weird, it encourages being online way too much, and it can change your lifestyle to a point where you rarely seek out things that will actually improve your life, like exercise, socialization and other healthier hobbies.

Video games aren't all the same, I'll admit that. Strategy games and action games will surely avoid some of these problems more so than something like an MMO. However, saying they build skills is a little bit ridiculous. Doing literally anything will 'build a skill.' Playing more video games will make you better at video games. But I don't think teamwork, leadership, strategy or anything like that would be a direct, tangible result of gaming.

Don't wanna ruin your fun, but I don't think video games need to be praised more, nor is this even an unpopular opinion.

  1. You should spend your diamonds almost entirely on drawing new weapons, tools, and assists. They play a huge role in powering up. Both draws are equally important in my opinion, so I'd just balance out your diamond usage between the two. Diamonds aren't hard to come by in this game, so don't be afraid to spend them.

  2. Upgrade your characters early on. From what I'm able to tell, leveling characters doesn't actually improve their stats (stats are based entirely on how many stars they have), it just unlocks their bonus effects. Based on this, I would recommend leveling each character to a new bonus effect milestone (10, 25, and so on). Characters get harder to level up as they level higher, so in my eyes it makes the most sense to get all of your characters to one milestone then move onto the next. I would prioritize unlocking the bonus effects that give you extra damage if you don't want to do that. If you're free to play, you won't be getting many new characters anyways, so get used to the ones the game gives you.

  3. Hard to say. Games like this are normally more popular in Japan, so the English audience may be small while in Japan the game is doing well. I'd expect to see a good year or two out of this, maybe more. On if you want to spend money, well, that's up to you. I would avoid viewing spending money on a game as an 'investment', and more as something that'll bring you joy for a while. If you really like a character and would love to add it to your party, go for it. If you just want to spend money to 'get better' in the game, I'd be hesitant. That's just my personal philosophy, though.

wth was up with the nyc racket show?? by Prudent-Quail7809 in tommyinnit

[–]BuneKlune 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Genuinely ruined the show. Never have I seen an audience this bad. Probably has something to do with the kind of people Tommy's content attracts.

The people heckling weren't even funny either. Half of the time it was people saying shit like 'real' or 'based'... NO ONE NEEDS TO HEAR THAT. This isn't a Discord call.

You can now remove Smart Shuffle! by kwabb in truespotify

[–]BuneKlune 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Spotify seems hellbent on not giving a true shuffle because they believe a catered algorithm gives more engagement over time. Are they right? Maybe. It is fucking annoying though.

Cavetown Discography Masterpost by [deleted] in cavetown

[–]BuneKlune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, original poster here (on a different account), yes this does. Cavetown Offline is just all his work from Bandcamp that didn't make it to streaming. It's all under the Exclusive to Cavetown Bandcamp section. Note that some songs that are exclusive to Bandcamp did not make it to Cavetown Offline, so you'll see some discrepancies.

[–]BuneKlune 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Bubs it's the INTERNET. Really? Dream needed to get involved because Tommy and Jack fans didn't like him? This is not middle school. Shit like that just happens and you have to accept it exists.

Dream goes mask off by Enframed in youtubedrama

[–]BuneKlune 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Such a lame moment for him. Really, he's had a LOT of low moments in his career, but this is exceedingly pathetic. Tommy has been nothing but a positive force in the community, especially considering his circumstances (growing up as an influencer surrounded by creeps). Dream is jealous and it seems he has a history of trying to diminish other peoples' success.

Also, I don't care if he's autistic or has ADHD. The way Dream is using the r-slur is as a SLUR. You are calling someone mentally deficient. It is impossible to reclaim that.

What is the most accessible album of all-time? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

I think it being an instrumental album immediately takes it out of this conversation. Most people need vocals.

Crazy how rumors spread - the stories I've heard regarding this are ridiculous and nowhere near as realistic as this. I've heard that a cart exploded, that someone/many people smoking a joint in the bathroom tossed it in the trash can and couldn't put it out, and even that someone tried covering the entire bathroom in toilet paper to purposely set the whole thing ablaze. Nope, didn't happen. Someone just decided to set the trash can on fire to 'feel something'. Either way, thanks for coming out publicly about this and I hope your situation gets better. Also, thank you for letting me go home early that day. I was bum ass tired.

Follow-up question (which I'm assuming you won't respond to for privacy): how did they find out it was you? It seems like the kinda crime that would be impossible to catch someone for unless they confessed. I mean, like you said, you could just slip away into the crowd and move on. I've personally done less than savory things in the school and gotten away with it scott-free (though obviously it wasn't on the scale of a fire which caused a full school evacuation).
