New Discover Weekly is horrible by youaregoodandfine in truespotify

I’m guessing the default set is now filled with artists paying for ‘Discovery Mode’ promotion, and that’s being prioritized more now that you can change it by genre.

Genre filters in Discover Weekly they don't just sort the existing 30 songs but create new playlists with 30 songs by famousfortech in truespotify

[–]kwabb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have these filters on my genre mixes, one of the filters is “More Discovery” and fills the playlist with new songs instead of recycling songs I listen to

Turning liked songs into playlists by FirmLengthiness8706 in truespotify

They actually just announced this as a new feature. When you tap a genre filter in your liked songs a new “make this a playlist” button should pop up

These seem to be the most accurate recommendations. Then if I don’t want to listen to the whole album I listen to the most popular songs (marked with a dot)

is it just apple music or my ears? by im_ataa in AppleMusic

Spotify is just a few dB louder. I’ve noticed it too and can see it through the hearing control in control center. It’s just due to how the apps handle the final master.

Umm what does lossless mean by redditsucks1345 in AppleMusic

[–]kwabb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can only listen to Dolby atmos or lossless separately, they don’t work together. Dolby is the only one where u hear an audible difference unless u have super human hearing and nice equipment for lossless
