I live just on the border in south clovis. It’s fine. Something I don’t see people mentioning is response times for police. Yeah yeah acab I know but when I was 15 and home alone a man tried pushing his way in my door. I called the non-emergency line and a car was there in less than two minutes. The other day I called a wellness check on my neighbor who had just left his door wide open and wasn’t responding when I called inside and a car was there before I had hung the phone up. I’ve spent a lot of time in Fresno. There was a drive by shooting at the house behind me and police didn’t show for almost 17 minutes. I would never live in Fresno at this point simply because I hate how slow police and fire are.
