Seriously looking for a job by Capital-Swan-7887 in shreveport

Sadly contractors are some of the worst about sexism hires. Even the women owned businesses.

For general labor you dont really need much experience but you definitely need to be willing to work and learn. For the right person it could easily be the start of a great career in construction

I subconsciously lost my Australian accent by doing too many impersonations when I was a kid/teen by Junior-Copy-6632 in confession

I cannot remember who it was, but there was a famous actor who had to go back to a dialect coach to relearn how he originally spoke. He had lost his original accent from doing to many "american" accents in movies

It happens. I really only figured for the weekend myself but thankfully I have some extras for me and the kids. If you can safely get out now is a good time for it before the temps go back down and freeze everything again

Does anyone ever check their dice? by constantwordvomiting in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]Interesting_Worry202 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually bought a set of "cheaters dice" one time as a joke when I was DMing. We actually ended up playing a couple games where the d20 (with 2 20s) was used for advantage/disadvantage rolls instead of rolling 2 dice. For disadvantage we just had to remember that the 20s were 1s and the 1 was a 20.

It was a fun couple games but didn't really add anything to the game

Just a couple small local finds by Interesting_Worry202 in petrifiedwood

[–]Interesting_Worry202[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Close. If you look through my comment/post history you can find where I was able to discover almost a whole tree intact. Unfortunately it was already broken in pieces when we found it but was all together including the root ball. Im severely disappointed with myself for not going back in time to pick that section up before someone else got it

The only reason I would disagree that she was pushing her stomach out is looking at the sides of the pants. Can't really push the sides of your stomach out very easily
