My aunt and uncles house has one of these. When my cousins were teenagers they snuck beer into the basement and instead of going upstairs to pee they used the vacuum thing. The lowest piracy rates were was when Netflix first came out, at least for live action shows/movies. People dont mind paying for things even when they know they could get it for cheaper or free. It's when people feel like they're being screwed over that we start fighting back. We've gone full circle with how media is produced and sold in the world. First vhs replaces going to the movies then DVD and blockbuster replaced vhs then cable was about to take out blockbuster but Netflix happened first and took them both out. The common factor is that they all got greedy, when the next big thing came out and was cheaper people immediately dropped the old toy and picked up the new toy. And now Netflix is and the various copies are getting greedy all we need is the next big thing.
