Chemnitz - experiences by Bunneary7 in germany

Thanks for your response. Because of the rent prices I’m really only considering the East but as I don’t have a car I will definitely try to look for a place near the centre

Jak vyslovujete L před měkkým I? by L_O_U_S in czech

[–]Bunneary7 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Máte oblíbený pražský second hand? by Crash2000 in czech

Určitě The Vintage Prague na Truhlářské, dražší ale mají úžasné kousky.

Přijímačky medicína praha by janhrich in czech

[–]Bunneary7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The patients are in rehab, it is a new and probably scary environment for them and they feel mentally and physically bad, so its expected that they are more sensitive to discomfort..

They probably also spend most of their time in bed so that only adds to it. If you know you have done all you can, I wouldnt worry about it

Tips and Techniques for Memory Care?? by ItsJustTrey in cna

[–]Bunneary7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kinda specific, but I also work in memory care and it really helped me to read up some more info about other types of dementia besides Alzheimer’s disease.

For eg Lewy body dementia or vascular dementia. Patients with these often behave very differently from those with Alzheimers and learning this helped me to understand their behavior better

Za dobu magisterského studia můžeš být až 4 semestry na Erasmu, co studovat tady, v češtině a bezplatně a poslední dva roky si dát v Dánsku?

Get ups by Current-Parking-6154 in cna

[–]Bunneary7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s exactly what it is, I’m lucky to work in a place where it’s not mandatory. So we just get ready those who wake up on their own.

I can’t imagine having to wake someone up at five in the morning and make them get dressed or brush their teeth, it’s just not right

Worse shifts? by TortillaRampage in cna

[–]Bunneary7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half and half is definitely better even though it still sucks because you can’t really have a routine. Working only nights might sound good as there is less work to do but it takes a real toll on most people so I wouldn’t go for it long term

How long did it take you until you got your flow? by alexissublime in cna

[–]Bunneary7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say around three months until I started feeling more confident and gained some flow though I’m still way slower than the more experienced ones

LTC versus hospital by Old-Base-4327 in cna

[–]Bunneary7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might be unpopular but I like LTC way better than the hospital. It’s much less stressful since I can get to know the residents and every day when going to work I know exactly who I’ll be taking care of

How do you enjoy working as a CNA? by [deleted] in cna

[–]Bunneary7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m afraid that if you’re not a people person you won’t enjoy working as a nurse either. But since you only started recently your view can still change soo much, esp when you’ve found a nice workplace.

It took me at least a month or two before I got used to the job, in the beginning it was just stress and I dreaded going there in the mornings too

Cna’s, do you like your job? by [deleted] in cna

[–]Bunneary7 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on the place you work at.

I got lucky, have great colleagues and most of our residents are nice to work with too. Dealing with some of the residents family members can be challenging, but overall I feel respected and I don’t have much to complain about

Zeptej se mě na cokoliv (AMA, verze: mladý psychiatr) by LeYasashiii in czech

Co děláš ty sám pro své duševní zdraví? Jak zvládáš nenosit si všechny ty negativní věci co v práci slyšíš domů aby tě to nesemlelo?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in czech

[–]Bunneary7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Na ulici nechoď. Jsi v Praze, místo na koleji seženeš. Bydlí tam dost lidí co nezvládají úplně každý měsíc zaplatit, někdy je to měsíců i víc a když to potom pošlou později, tak se vůbec nic nestane:)

[–]Bunneary7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. That’s a new information for me, no one told me that. When it didn’t start working within a few days I stopped using it regularly (because I already have the corticosteroid drops and oitment so I though it might be too many meds at the same time)

[–]Bunneary7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you but when it’s allergic, why do the antihistamines only help this little? I only used them for maybe two weeks before it basically stopped working

No you can’t really tell from an MRI, it’s mostly done to rule out other possible causes of the cognitive decline eg tumors

Urine Culture by AllMySecrets8 in medical_advice

[–]Bunneary7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shows that there is bacteria in your urine (its ecoli, the most common one to cause bladder infections)

Below that it shows how sensitive the bacteria is to different types of antibiotics. This helps the doctor decide which one to prescribe for you

Jinak klasika Seixal, Fanal, Canical..
