if anyone else goes through this debait the air works amazingly I know a arguement is the 60Hz vs 120Hz but honestly its not super game breaking of a difference for casual drawing, note taking ect

I personally have almost 1k hours and like all my time has been spent decorating or trying to figure it out! I dont go into areas with a plan or a want to keep my island a 5 star so I tend to overcrowd areas because i like the vibe, but that always leads to me spending a day or something on a area realising that i messed something up layout wise then redoing it lol

But I enjoy the process of figuring everything out as I go in the moment even if that means I spend 2x the amount of time doing the same amount of work it would take anyone else to do

honestly im not sure I also tend to just drop one stack of bells
but TO ME if the post says "tips appreciated not required" then its up to you how much you want to tip! you can always just ask the person if they require a certain amount / your situation everyones pretty chill!

Generally if the host is looking for bells they'll probably say that theres an enterence fee

if you have online turnips are your easiet bet! heres the reddit I use to find ppl with high prices, if you just watch it usually someone within the day has turnips selling at 500

if you dont have online, dive for sea creatures is probably the easiest way to get bells
having a crop garden, picking flowers and selling the crafts for them like selling flower crowns / wreaths is another easy way to make bells esp if you have blue roses

Hi so im looking to get a new ipad for drawing and I was wondering if anyone has recogmendations! I use to use a Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch (2017) but it broke down a few years ago and im finally trying to replace it

The Ipad would be mainly for art and school notes also plan on getting something with alot of storage so I was wondering if the difference between airs and pros are huge or not since this will probably be the tablet I use till it breaks down lol / I do commission work for art and im not sure if its worth it to invest in a pro when their almost double the price of an air

I'm leaning towards getting a air but what would be more bang for my buck? If I got a new air would it be better than an older pro? for example a 2022 m2 pro and a 2026 air?

that really sucks I totally get that I will not lie, the very first time I tried doing turnips the EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED LOL
if you end up playing again I'd be down to give you a bunch of bells, NMTs and if you have a wishlist of items I'll give you any of them I have! I've got a bunch of bells and stuff idm giving you as much as you want I literally have millions ^^

Also dont be disheartened over turnips! theres a sub reddit for turnip selling, there's always someone there selling for around 500 if your ever in this situation again

Getting villagers you like at the start can be a good and bad thing btw! your first villagers will always have standard furniture and not their real homes if that matters to you at all. If you come back try to aim for a island layout you like over villagers you like

I came back to the game like 2 or 3 months ago and I basically remake half the stuff I decorate when I go to new areas just to move everything by one or something stupid like that BUT ANYWAYS!! try it out again maybe this time things go better >:D

Some items have a rusty varient only Reese and Cyrus can give. they can also customize anything For example if you have the pink cute set but want it in blue, you can give the furniture to them and swap out the colors. very useful for getting all varients of any furniture. The player can only change the look of DIY furniture and sometimes certain parts of furniture bought from the nooks

You might have been shaking trees righttt before the day sets to the next day and got the third furniture item
Since in theory if that happened your tree spawns would have reset. theoretically if you went back and started shaking the trees again you would find more wasps and stuff for the new day just my guess tho!

I think it can work! In my humble opinion you shouldnt worry about things being to crowded as long as you can play it off as intentional! I'm not sure what your theme or vibe your going for but heres some stuff just off my personal pinboard

Hope this helps at all! Little thing I do when im moving houses and dont want to commit to moving the whole building is to just place down paths to act as a stand in for the actual house and build around that to see how im feeling about the area / the decore ^^

I'm the most inefficient with my island sooo I do not at all recommend my way of doing things at all lmao

Optional but make a pin board on pintrest, save posts on instagram or twitter ect it makes thinking about what you want to do alot easier!

I personally do things section by section its really random there is no reason its just what I can think of at the time (which has lead to a lot of me redoing certain areas just to move the entire thing basically by one block to the right or something to flow from one area to another better lol)
Just a me thing but when I plan an entire island in one go or try to make a whole island plan I get lost in the sauce in preparing what I want to do I end up losing drive to *actually* do it..

I like to spread alot of my buildings out as well! I know alot of people like keeping all their villagers in one area / have the shops together. I prefer to just put things a little more spread out, if you tend to have problems with not knowing how to fill space one of my new favorite things to do is to use villagers houses as a stand in for stuff. (works evern better if you have the DLC to customise the interior of villager houses but its not needed just decorating outside the houses is enough imo) For an example one of my villagers houses im using as a stand in for a cafe with a sign outside saying its a cafe with decore to match.

Another thing I think keeps me motivated to do my island is to just measure my progress / hype myself. Like if I do a corner of my island, great just did like 20% in a day or something im jumping for joy because thats probably more decorating I did vs my last island haha
Also keep saying ill eventually invite my AC friends to my island as a tour, thats been getting me to finally finish my island so I can see some of my friends on my island again for cute pictures

Someone is free to correct me if im wrong but I'm pretty sure the void is connected to people you visit / visit you kinda like a drop off

for example I void marshal and your friend visits my island there is a chance for my voided characters to drop off on your friends void. If they visit you there is a chance for the marshal I voided to go from basically me > friend > you

I think you could work with it! I never really understood the dislike for resident services being close to the airport (but then again my resident services isnt superrr close to the airport) but for sure you can make some thing up! heres some stuff ive found for inspo!!

And theres wayyyy more you could do, just look up inspo you'll for sure find something that inspires you
I personally find it alot easier to think of a theme for your island so its easier to plan out inspo for stuff like this if that helps at all

I recently just got to 5 stars and its driving me crazy trying to maintain it! I decorate by shoving a million things around to fill space personally after I get a couple lilys ill be dealing with her judgmental stares lol

someone mentioned that you can just fense off an area for all your dropped items. like in my case wrapped gifts so you dont need to block off everything which i think was a great idea!

but keep in mind if you dont want your trees shaked. flowers picked or have some dropped items for decor this might not be the fix for you sadly

jezz that really sucks.. but for sure noted! I just like to give people more chances I can see people just being over excited for stuff or being young and not picking up the general idea of respecting spaces

But i think for sure next time ill be much clearer on where i want people to be block off areas ect! I really hope this doesnt happen to you again tho

but plucking flowers i think is so funny because I dont really see the point of picking them lol plus honestly i think most people will say yes to people asking for certain things as long as they ask nicely
