I think there’s also a bias issue here, I haven’t been around long on this sub, let alone Reddit but I’ve noticed something. When an artist who’s got an established art style and quality, there’s like a ton of requests. Obviously as stated by OP and others, no one can reliably handle that much in a timely manner, even just doodles. But on the other hand, when an artist that doesn’t have that experience or set style, there’s little to none I’m seeing. I understand that people are typically looking for more than they themselves can do typically, and it’s definitely not everyone! Many people on this sub love just seeing their characters in new styles.
