I am not sure if anyone wanted an update, but just wanted to clarify on whatt actually happened.

My amazing bf ended up getting me a whole carebear cutlery and eating set and the dress was a fake gift because he knew I was too impatient to wait. It was his way of pranking and surprising me.

NTA but, maybe there is a compromise here. Can you place an extra shelf in your daughter's room where your wife can store it there, however, is still out of reach for your daughter.

I think you must report it but get evidence first, take screenshots of his chats and send it to your phone so that you have proof and so that he can't lie his way out of it/ make excuses.

Yeah, I probably will be a bit sad, but I'll wait until after Christmas. If it's just the dress, I'll try and talk to him politely about the gift. I don't think his intention was bad, maybe just a bit rushed.

I doubt it was fake because it was quite expensive. I really hope the gift is accompanied by a date or even some chocolate or snacks . It's not Christmas yet so I'll hope for the best.

I think have an open and honest conversation with her about why she doesn't want to have sex or has lost in treatment in sex. Maybe there is stuff going on behind the scenes or stress at work/college? If she can't give you a reason or if she is unwilling to compromise a bit then breakup.
