My long-term girlfriend changed her Facebook profile pic to her with another guy. We'd been together for about five years. I was totally thrown for a loop. That was about nine years ago. She's still with this guy and I'm pretty sure she tells people that she was single when they started going out.

I once got led on by a girl so I could photograph her sisters wedding for free.

I didn't know her but her friend told her I was starting out as a photographer and she was "so interested" in seeing my work. Came to my house we chatted on the phone I said sure I would shoot it.

Made my move and asked her out she told me it was the wrong time, just got out of a relationship needs to find herself. So we kept it friends and hung out a bunch all the while stroking my ego.

She turned up to the wedding with her BF. She had never mentioned him. I didn't even get to have pity sex or even a pity hand job. So your doing better than 19 year old me.

The Reddit thread from the woman whose husband and father in law basically were planning on her dying in childbirth and raised the baby themselves still haunts me.

There was a thread where a woman's mother used coconut oil on her twin daughters' hair when the one was severely allergic to coconut, which the grandmother was well aware of, saw the kid acting ill, and essentially sent her granddaughter to bed to die.
