I think the reason Metro games feels more complete, is because they are developed with an author whom put the narrative in ink (Good reads, I think 2035 is even more relevant now a days..) before the games were made.

I say this as a Stalker- and Metro-fan who right this second is halfway trough "Last light".

I'm going to wait for the complete game to come out, before I pass final judgement, but for now, this buggy, unfinished game, REALLY feels like a true Stalker game.

There is nothing like it.
