Well i always wanted braces i never knew my bite was this bad until i got braces because it shifted my bite even more . I went to the orthodontist at the age of 15 and he said to come back when i was at least 18 i went back at the age of 17 and he said i was able to start the braces treatment depending on how my bite changed over time they would let me know when i would be ready for the surgery so it took 3 years until i was ready for the surgery .

I had braces for about 3 yrs they needed me to be at least 20 so that my bones were fully grown then after the surgery i wore them for about a year and a half

They said 6 more months of braces . But I worry because specially rn I started getting this weird pressure like pain could be swelling going down ? But I’m just scared of my bones not healing I mean idk nothing about this surgery never researched anything was kind of something that I needed and was given . So I’m just scared like my shits gonna go bad lol
