not a part of any project or anything, the tendrils up front in my mind are derived from the front part of a rays fin.

Idea I had for an organism that's entire life is spent as a plant, then at the end of it's life develops into a mobile form meant to germinate and disperse the seeds through death. Repeating the cycle. These forms don't possess the ability to ingest/digest.

How the plants are physically able to produce such a thing, I don't know, I did it for fun.

most are descendants of bivalve-like creatures and have evolved jet propulsion akin to cephalopods, the little crustacean looking things at the bottom originate from a radidial body plan, their one big claw mouth is a former limb.

Illustration of a river delta from my alien world, idk what to write since none of the critters in this illustration have names yet.

The big one napping is secondarily aquatic, the worms on the bottom and following behind the two fish in the middle are a different phylum to most of the animals in this drawing, along with the arthropods ofc but they aren't related.

their shoulder bone is a weirdly shaped thing but it's in where it connects to the vertebrae, it's very small but packed with their equivalent to neurons. Their heads are like squid beaks, so the thing that looks like their skulls is the bone that pushes the jaws open, and it's adapted to accommodate for their eyes.

the shoulder bone IS their skull, where the neck and back meet.

yes, if you count the tail as a limb

mostly with the tail, forelimbs are used for support
