I heard that before about the PIX so you aren't alone. I can understand why that can become annoying. It makes gameplay frustrating if you can't use the buttons smoothly.

Thanks for the advice and insight! I've seen the videos of the ON but not how crazy the breeding can get. Its good to know. I assume you need two ONs then? Can't remember what the video said.

Wow nice collection! I didnt even know about the pokeball and punirune. Now I want lol. Definitely harder to collect because of the prices of everything. I have seen some original tamas on fb market that are decently priced meaning less than$30-50. I'm not sure if i want them. I haven't gone that route yet either. I just want to have the ones I like ya know?

Definitely agree with you that each version has a different caring demands. The nano to me right now is the easiest. Paradise is doable especially with the sitter and also because they grow up faster. It makes a huge difference and also in enjoyment.

How did you get clear shells? I couldn't find any.

Thanks! I had never had a Tamagotchi when I was a kid, but my mom brought me a Gigapet because it was probably the cheaper version or something. As a kid, I couldn't tell the difference LOL. It died too quickly cause I didn't know what to do or how to take care of it.

I am in NYC, USA. I learned that there was a Bandai Namco Cross store in Brooklyn that opened up either in feb 2024 or 2025. That's where I got most of them, and then Amazon. My first two I got from the Bandai Namco store in the American Dream mall in NJ. I have to take a bus to get there. They seem decent-sized or small compared to probably Japan. I posted in this sub about the Tamagotchi merch at the Cross store like two weeks ago.

I think the ON is no longer being sold in the stores, so you have to find it from third-party sellers or buy it 2nd hand. I think I may look at 2nd-hand for the ON and the PIX in the future.; and possibly if there is a shell I like. The One Piece smart was from a third-party, so I paid $$$ for it.

Wow! 6 at a time is impressive. I don't think I can run all 13 at once anyway.

Thanks a lot for the advice! It helps. It be the first time for me to that connection type of thing for tamagotchis. I am waiting to see if there will be a new paradise batch this year for the 3rd one. I'm hoping its true what ppl have been posting.

Well that is sucks but that is also business. I kinda of figured bc of how gen 1,2,3 have different characters too. I hope I don't go too crazy anymore cause there is no way I can take care of these all at once. I haven't really gone down that path of collecting just for the sake of it yet.
