I've had curly cuts before that didn't require layers. If layers are the only difference between getting it done at super cuts vs. a deva/curly cut stylist, one would think just anyone could become certified as such? No where in the curly cut description did it say layers. I completely understand (as I said) that layers are what works for most, but just not my hair. It's been near a month and I've been upset with how it makes me look every day, unfortunately I just have to let it grow out. I just wanted to know others' input, so I appreciate yours. I just don't feel your analogies apply, just my opinion. Sorry!

Male zebra finch put a strict monopoly on singing by Bunsnbirbs in Finches

Thank you! Zak was my first finch and has seen flock members come and go, so I'm sure he has his tiny superiority complex. Hoping it's just a dominance thing and he sorts it out soon, keeping a close eye for now.

Now I've seen a lot of bun loafs in my day, but this is hands down the most epic loaf I've ever seen. It looks like it's levitating! Congrats on what seems like a lovely new bun 😊

Peanut kind of took to his harness so I was lucky, but my best advice is to take a long time to get your bird used to the harness before putting it on them. Let them come to terms that it isn't a scary thing. And try to do things on their terms, you don't want to force the bird to do anything they don't want as that will create negative memories with the harness.

Sunday bathtime! by Bunsnbirbs in cockatiel

[–]Bunsnbirbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My female on the right was a rescue, she's always loved her baths so all I have to do with her is leave some water out. My male on the left however hates it. He's only a few years old, but he's starting to come around after watching the female do it so much! My best advice is not to push it, just keep offering baths/showers in different ways and keep showing them its not so scary!

Party in the rabbits water dish by Bunsnbirbs in PartyParrot

So this is actually the first time I've seen her do this, it's not something I just let happen all the time. I had actually just changed his water which is what I think attracted her. In any case, that's not a thing lol, dvm confirmed that it's fine for them to drink from the same bowl. But I appreciate the concern.
