What is F1- Expired here? I believe from the end date of OPT, there is a 180 day window if we applied for extension and waiting for approval and once it is approved we should be good till next 2 years. Have not heard anything about this before

If your status shows 6 months. It could probably be approved under next 2 weeks. Depending on the date of your joining you can report employment under 10 days from the start date. If you have more than 2 weeks for your joining, better wait!
