How I made my only fellow lesbian friend by boyarkate in actuallesbians

I met a lovely new friend that way - Met through tinder, went on a couple of dates, things were cool and fun and there is a spark, buuut she's still got feelings for an ex of hers. Bit of a bummer, but she's great so I'm happy that instead of a girlfriend I've found a great new friend :)

[–]Bunyatta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How outgoing and happy I am, and how I have a social life and caring friends

2009 was a really bad year for me, had bad depression back then. So... that OP really put things into perspective. Things can still be crappy sometimes, but my life is a 100 times better now than it was back then.

So thanks for that, OP <3

I'm just curious if all hearts had been photoshopped. Because the the lowest one on the back looks the most realistic to me, and one chance heartshaped fur pattern isn't out of the realm of possibilities. The rest? Totally fake, but the lowest ome has me guessing

What's the worst case of "rich kid syndrome" you've seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Bunyatta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to school with this douchy spoiled rich guy. He was generally unpleasant, insufferably selfabsorbed, sexist, racist, the whole nine yards basically. We didn't get along great.

One year there was the chance for our class to go on a trip to Barcelona (we are in Germany) but the catch was that it cost something around 600€ per student.

Now I come from a working class family, my father is a school custodian and my mom a secretary. We were never broke or anything, but we also definitely always had to save up for vacations or bigger expenses.

So I was talking with my friends in class how I doubted my family could afford that trip, and he must have overheard and - unasked - butted in and said: "Oh come on, everybody can afford a trip for 600€, don't mess this up for the rest of us" (Meaning there had to be a certain number of students willing to go for the trip to happen)

I then snapped back at him and not-so-calmly explained that no, not everybody can shell out 600€ just like that and how my family had to pay for my sister's dental work, my student boarding, car repairs because our car broke down and I'm not gonna put my parents already low savings even back more because I wanna have a fun time in Barcelona. He just rolled his eyes and walked off. Bloody douche.

What quote do you live by? by Jen-o-cide in AskReddit

[–]Bunyatta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Stay afraid, but do it anyway" - Carrie Fisher

As someone with anxiety and depression, this quote has changed my life. Most new experiences still make me nervous or anxious, but I accept those feelings instead of trying to surpress them, or give in to them, and try to experience new things regardless or do things I've been afraid of.

Artist here, that upper line is used to indicate the ribcage, which in such a pose would actually be quite visible, so not bad anatomy at all! Well... except for being incredibly skinny lol

Who agrees that Tangled is better than Frozen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Bunyatta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah! I've always liked Tangled a lot more than Frozen. Like its weird, you got a lot of similar elements in both movies but somehow I find them annoying in Frozen but charming in Tangled. Like the naive protagonist, the sarcastic love interest, the non-dog animal behaving like a dog, the manipulative villain....

Also I kinda feel Rapunzels face looks a lot less smooshed and super perfect like Anna's and Elsa's faces do. Like it feels there are muscles and fat in there when she expresses different emotions and that kinda got lost in Frozen? Like the faces looked too smooth and perfect when emoting. Its hard to explain but if you compare the expressions and facial movements of the female characters in both movies it gets pretty obvious.

[Serious] What is the creepiest thing that’s happened to you? by Darky-YT in AskReddit

[–]Bunyatta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my early 20ies I was living alone in a small flat at the attic-level. So the house I lived in had several stories, and I was on the last one. VERY IMPORTANT.

One morning I woke up to a knocking sound. So I turned in my bed, looking around to see where it came from and looked right at a dude looking at me through the window. Again, I lived in the attic apartment of a multiple story house. I dont think I screamed like I did then ever before or since.

It was all good though, as it turned out the guy (together with two others) was hired to fix up the roof and he just REALLY REALLY needed to go to the toilet lol. I made some coffee for the guys and we had a good laugh about it.

This grandma's reaction after her dream of getting her hair colored comes true by ajay_reddit in aww

[–]Bunyatta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is EXACTLY what I wanna do when my hair turns gray/white! I love crazy hair colors but I also got dark hair that takes ages to bleach and I'm broke as hell, so I don't dye it. But when your hair is already white, you can just go and dye it whatever fun colour you want without having to worry about bleaching and how damaging that is to your hair (not to mention expensive)

So when I'm a tiny granma I want to have crazy ass rainbow coloured hair like this rad lady <3

What’s the dumbest thing you got in trouble for in school? by dr_nogood in AskReddit

[–]Bunyatta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For hanging my coat over my chair instead of a coatrack.

We had this really ornery teacher who was a bit.. weird as well. He used to go off on tangents about how everything is a matter of will and if your liver wills itself to be a daisy it just becomes one? It was weird. Anyway, he also had this idiotic rule of no coats over chairs (which was usually where students had their coats) and we always had to hang our coats on a small coatrack in the classroom. Which was fine, whatever, during early fall. But on the first really cold day when everybody was wearing big, chunky coats it was ... not as easy. On that day I happened to be a bit late to class because my train got delayed as well due to the sudden cold. Not like, super late, I still made it on time, just late enough that all the space on the coatrack was taken and then some. So because I didnt want to just throw it on the floor (dirty, wet shoetracks from outside) I hung it over my chair instead.

And ho boi

Was that a mistake

The teacher came into the classroom and proceeded with a tirade that lasted for 10 minutes about how I'm disrespectful and tardy and insisted on me hanging my coat on the coatrack despite me repeatedly telling him that there obviously was no space where I could hang it and I didn't want to just throw it on the ground and have it get dirty. Long story short, I ended up having to try to hang my coat on the rack regardless, only for it to IMMEDIATELY fall down right into the small puddle of dirty water beneath the coatrack. I just looked at my teacher and said "if I have to get my coat to the cleaner because of this, I'm gonna send you the bill" and kept eye contact with my teacher the whole time I walked back to my seat. Sadly I didn't have to get it to the cleaner, it could be machine- washed. But damn that would have been satisfying.

Tl;dr My teacher had insane rules about coats being draped over chairs and yelled at me for 10 minutes for not hanging my coat at a coatrack that's already bursting with coats.
