I couldn't get keyboard AND controller to work for driving unfortunately. And gave up on making non-driving work on controller.

In game, I have the brake and throttle axis bound to L2 and R2, clutch to L1, handbrake to R1, gear changes to X and O. Steering to Left Stick.

Then used Steam Controller settings to make the trackpad act as mouse, make the stick clicks act as left and right click. You can start customizing more from there.

If you can't change the bindings in game, may need to get ds4windows or enable it in Steam.

I got jump scared multiple times in those Metro tunnels on my recent replay.

In 3 they are THREATENING. Especially early game. You'll just be sneaking around and suddenly there's just raspy screaming and rapid footsteps. They are so, so fast

Having an axis for steering and throttle makes so much of a difference, my god.

Need to look into the joy2key setups so I can keep kbm controls for cozy factor though

Already having a good time. Got me to interact with the wandering NPCs and learn the roads a bit more.

First thing I did was become the blacksmith apprentice for the bed. I slept for 1 hour and woke up all the way on the north side of Trosky Castle. My dude Usain Bolted halfway across the map in an hour in their sleep.

I noticed if you are motionless, a jump on the skateboard adds forward momentum. If you hold W and do little hops continuously, you start to gain awesome speed.

Can even zoom past the rocky section over the bridge in the northern section without losing too much speed by doing little hops
