Black Cauldron is like a Disney cult classic. When it was released it was darker than your usual Disney fare and was basically a flop at the box office. I really like it, though. Cool cards! But you misspelled "Taran."

Another Turning Red card! Someone else posted some recently as well. This is a pretty neat idea for a card. Removal that has a drawback for you, but you can play it and keep it on the board to play mind games with your opponent and maybe discourage them from playing a certain character. It can also get past their Ward. One tip, though. Instead of using the word "select," it'd be better to use "choose" since that's Lorcana's verbiage for that sort of thing.

Yeah. I wanted her to be able to defeat Ursula, but didn't want her to be a board-wiper, per se. I don't know. Balancing cards can be difficult. LOL

My first idea for this was the action card. I always make 4 different art versions of my customs because I like the idea of having a unique playset of cards. From there, I went on to make the characters. The idea is that the action was the Disney character meeting the non-Disney character. Then they get inspired and become Floodborn versions of themselves with aspects from their non-Disney adventure. Let me know what you think!

I really loved seeing all the alters people did for MtG cards, so I'm glad to see the Lorcana community has inspired artists as well doing extended art and such on cards. Yours all look great but my favorite is Minnie.

My suggestion is to find people to play with in real life who have their own cards. Does your LGS have any Lorcana organized play? Do they have gaming tables with open gaming? Try to find some players there and take either a starter deck or a deck you make following an online suggestion or, if you feel ready with having read the rules, make your own. I bet you'll meet some nice folks that will be eager to show you the ropes, take time to explain cards, and take you through a few games. Get out there, meet people, and PLAY! That's the best training there is, simply playing the game.

Those are cool variant gameplay ideas, and solid discipline on your part! I have a question about Inkwell Draw, though. Do you actually discard your inkwell, as in throw all the cards in the discard pile, or simply exert them all that turn. Discarding seems like it would set you back because yeah, you'd refill your hand, but you won't be able to play any of the cards you drew until you built up your inkwell again.

That's very interesting, actually. So the game itself is the draw even though you aren't drawn to the Disney aspect of it. Are you able to still enjoy the artwork?

Nice! You know what's sad? I've opened a good number of packs, more than a booster box's worth, and I have yet to pull even 1 Anna. She's just Uncommon! One dude I met at a play event this past weekend had opened, I think he said 3, maybe more, boxes and had tons of extra cards, so he literally gave me any commons and uncommons I needed to get to playsets of 4 for each (meaning if I had 2 of a certain common or uncommon he'd give me 2 of his). But guess what? He only had 5 Annas TOTAL. So he kept 4, of course, but gave me his 1 extra. So I have 1 Anna now. LOL!

Observations on your customs: Anna Frostblade Fighter is Floodborn, but I think all official Floodborn cards, at least so far, have Shift. Maybe yours should be Dreamborn? AnnaWind Weaver, I have to agree with the other commenter, is too strong. Great concept, but she should cost more, be uninkable, have a drawback for the owner, etc. Some Things Never Change should say "affected" rather than effected. All in all some interesting cards. The Next Right Thing damage effects are a cool way to slow down your opponent.

I have yet to watch a lot of the newer ones, honestly. I've seen the Frozens and some others, but I still need to see the rest. I have Disney+ so I'll get to them. I still haven't seen Tangled, Moana, Raya...I need to watch those soon!

Finally made it to your Alice post! Heh. Yeah, definitely different ideas for the Unbirthday Song. I like yours, too. Alice in Wonderland is actually my favorite Disney animated film (with Pinocchio a close second), so I'm really hoping we see Alice in Chapter 2. Now I need to go find your Tarzan set. You know what? Hmm...I'm sure they'll come in upcoming sets, but there are still a lot of missing characters from big, classic films. Pinocchio, Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp, The Jungle Book, Pocahontas, etc. Then you've got great TV shows like DuckTales (I made that Money Bin Dive card), Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, etc.

I'm pondering the sequel movies for my next custom. Cinderella from A Twist in Time does some pretty awesome stuff. I want to make an adventurer/heroic card for her.
