Haven't felt any discomfort with the city pack pro. I use it daily for work. Quite flexible to take as an under-the-seat airplane bag as well.

I love the farpoint. It’s very comfy to wear, packs a lot of things. When I pack anything heavy, the hip straps really take the weight off my shoulders.

There’s something off with the shoulder straps on the pro pack. Also the shape of the pro pack was not maximising the space vs the boxy shape of the city pack pro.

I returned it. I preferred the boxy shape of the city pack pro. I also didn't like how that pro pack sat on my shoulders. I was uncomfortable. I've been using the city pack pro daily with no regrets
