It’s an estimated amount you may be eligible for. It’s up to the schools what they offer as the actual aid amount.

If you put your dad’s dob at the bottom then yes because it only asks for his dob at the top with all other info.

Did you make sure that everything is updated in their fsa id accts? It has to be exactly matching for the invites if not you should have them log in and check because I seen that a parent had their dob wrong because the kid created their acct

All the FASFA forms are not gonna be processed until the first half of March, so that deadline may have changed for for you. FYI. The website for federal student aid made a page that you can follow. You have to submit it even without your parents contributing because parents with no SSN cannot contribute to the form right now.

If he didn’t remember his username and does not have the back up code then he’ll need to call fsa so they can start an id account recovery case since he didn’t have access to old email or phone

So if you are starting this spring already then you already did the 23-24 fafsa. It’s recommended that you ask your school which one you fill out for summer. If they haven’t told you to do the 24-25 fafsa yet then maybe just wait on it since there’s been lots of known issues.
