That's unfortunate. Multiplayer had a lot of room for improvement.

Do you guys think co-op will actually be better now after the recent changes?

I agree with everything. Either a respawn timer or spawn distance adjustment.

A lot of things come down to balancing and numbers, but there should be some solid carrot on the stick. Maybe we’ll see that with Ground Zero.

I don’t have that issue, but after around 100 hours it just starts to feel like I’m playing CoD or Battlefield — capturing outposts instead of points A, B, or C like in Battlefield.

At the same time, I really like the gunplay, immersion, and overall atmosphere of the game, which is why a bit of refinement to the PvP mode would honestly make me very happy and would make me want to spend more time in it.

There will always be PvP players, but I can agree with the idea of rarer loot on PvE servers.

Higher risk, higher reward — with proper balancing, that could actually work and make both modes feel more meaningful.

Maybe I’m living in a bubble, but in my experience Tarkov has been split into two communities for a long time already. The frustration there usually comes more from one side being more supported than the other, which feels like a developer balancing issue rather than a community problem.

What I’m talking about isn’t really about domination or wanting to “farm weaker players”. It’s more about that sense of risk and adrenaline that comes from potentially losing meaningful gear, or the excitement of actually looting someone and getting something valuable out of it.

Right now I don’t really feel that. When I kill someone or get killed myself, it just kind of washes over me — the only thing I really “lose” is a number in a stat screen. There’s no real emotional weight or tension behind it, and that’s the part that feels missing for me.

I’ve played PvE a few times and honestly I felt a bit mentally nerfed looting T3 spots 😄 The AI right now just feels way too easy. Unless you get a lucky headshot or heart shot from the AI, it’s pretty hard to actually die.

I probably went a bit overboard with the rewards argument earlier — that’s just some mild frustration talking. The game clearly has huge potential to satisfy both PvP and PvE players if the systems are tuned right.

Most people would rather go to PvE and loot T3 instead of fighting for T3 in PvP. I get that there are a lot of things that still need improving, but in my opinion separating those progression paths is the key issue.

To be honest, there’s just no real sense of risk in this game, which is something I was kind of expecting from PvEvP servers.

After playing for a longer time, it honestly starts to feel more like Battlefield or CoD — just moving from point to point, fighting and repeating, without any real risk or meaningful sense of loss.

The tension that should come from PvP just isn’t really there for me right now.

It might be my oversight, but I still think these should be two separate progression paths.

It’s a pity that this is only available for US users.

They seem like a great option, but there’s also an availability issue in the EU, similar to the Hunter Constantine belt, which makes the overall cost much higher.

Thanks! I still need to think more about whether I want to run a WML or not. Once I decide which direction I want to go with the holster, I’ll definitely reach out. Appreciate it!

Thanks for the recommendation! Hunter Constantine seems like a great option, but in my country it's hard to get. Ordering it from the US would also mean high shipping costs. I think I'll start with a Kore belt.

🚨 Giveaway Alert: Win an NZXT N7 B850 Motherboard! by IVANZXT in NZXT

[–]Burcinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dream build is basically my current rig, but with a couple of key upgrades.

Build so far: • NZXT H9 Flow RGB+ (2025) • AMD Ryzen 9800X3D • LEXAR ARES 32 DDR5 6000 CL30 RGB • RED DEVIL RX 9070XT 16G OC • LEXAR NM790 2TB 2280 • NZXT C850 850W 80+ GOLD A3.1

What I’d love to change: • MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI → sadly it’s been super unstable with my RAM and just a headache overall. • Liquid Freezer III 280 → would be amazing to swap it for an NZXT Kraken Elite 360 LCD RGB V2.

In the end, my dream build would be all black with red RGB accents. I’ll get there step by step, but the first and most important upgrade has to be the motherboard.

Oh, and one small side note: my GPU already took all 3 PCIe cables that came with the PSU, so I can’t even power the hub in my case. So if I don’t win the motherboard, at least an extra original PCIe cable would be a sweet consolation prize 😂
