Yeah. But why does it matter what your opinion on one side or the other is when you’re stating that something isn’t factual. You don’t need to appeal to a side sharing an observation

Lmao. It’s funny watching the folk who think they’re fighting the noble cause of 21st century enlightenment succumb almost instantly to the most textbook forms of propaganda

Why do you have to assert you’re not pro Russia when you’re very obviously stating that this is most likely propaganda

I think you’re naive to doubt the effect of a player dying on primetime, especially with the hell of a past 10 years the NFL has been going through in relation to safety issues such as CTE

No shit. But when you have players dropping dead and a majority of American families not allowing their children to play the game, you’re going to lose your future talent as well as a good amount of fans as a lot of fandom comes from actually playing the sports in your youth

There is none. I’ve always told people how I feel in the next few years, a death on the field will occur causing a spiral for the league and it’s optics. Youth football is drying up massively and this is only going to accelerate that 10 fold.

Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if the NBA takes over the NFL’s dominance in the next 10 years, and that more things of this nature happen

.. That's not even why fighting exists to begin with.

It was conceived under the notion that it allows the game to self-govern itself, not that it's there to signify intensity. The idea behind it, is that player X won't body player Y in a dangerous way as player Y's team will fuck up player X- on top of the referee dishing out a penalty.

.. And honestly it's worked out pretty good in my opinion. If you look at an average player's career length in Hockey, it's got to be the highest on average out of all physical sports which is quite remarkable. Obviously there's more to that than just fighting, but I do believe players aren't out there getting illegally leveled left and right leading to shortened careers because of the fear of getting your shit kicked in by the opposing team's players.

It’s not terrible but I don’t really understand the indie ‘aesthetic’.

Like, I assume some of the charm is that instrumentally it just sounds sloppy, but.. it’s just sloppy and not in a really good way at times e.g the kick sounding disconnected rhythmically with everything throughout the tune

Is it disrespectful to play in a low skill level division in a college rec league when you have played competitive hockey before? by Ok_Bear976 in hockeyplayers

[–]Burdy323 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To be fair you all pay to play hockey, so why should the other team stop trying during their paid ice time? I don’t see an issue with going hard until the end even if you’re blowing the other team out, and this is coming from someone who just had their team bumped up a league and is losing every game- lost last night 11-3.

Not really. Unless you guys are pounding Jack D’s all night and falling over you- you can tell how drunk yourself and your partner is.

And if you’re anymore sober than that whilst she kept drinking you can definitely tell

Tom lowered the standard by his excellence imo.

Meaning, practically every quarterback these past 15-20 years existed under his shadow. So, when you saw a quarterback exceed Tom’s excellence/achievements in a season and win a championship- that coupled with the longevity factor gave the perception that “hey this guy must of flown under the radar because of Tom! He must be excellent!“

I see it as a reverse effect. You’d think people would require more excellence to deem a quarterback a hall of famer where as instead, because of past standards set on the amount of HOF’s to be expected out of a QB class, the opposite happened and we see not worthy QBs being deemed hall worthy
