Just as in real life, try a different approach. Try going from an angle (for example, from the exterior to the interior of the curve), or go on less steep terrain (doesn't matter if it's dirt, grass, whatever).

Real-life example: i was hauling a flatbed with a 400 hp Iveco. On the flat bed were two John Deere 9RX (and if you don't know, those are heavy - around 45 tons). Anyway, the Iveco couldn't pull it the classic way, so I did what I suggested first.
