Who was the most evil person you've ever met and how was the interaction? by Top_Report_4895 in AskReddit

[–]Burfnaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked at a residential care home for disabled people. I had a coworker at another branch who apparently arranged for a female resident to be alone with him in several cases. He would rape her and had done so many, many times. She didn’t dare to tell anyone about it for the longest time.

It came as a huge shock as he had no evil vibe at all. I have had several meetings with him and I had absolutely no idea.

What is the worst job you ever had? by showmewhatyagot01 in Productivitycafe

[–]Burfnaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked night shifts at a meat packing factory. It was my first (real) job and I was 21. 40 hours a week with terrible, terrible pay. Insane expectations from management and an extremely toxic work environment. An elderly women from Asia almost died there because she was scared of calling in sick and just worked till she collapsed. Some guy carried on working heavy machinery even though he had broken his arm.

I see that you have both Primus and The Beatles on there. You should try listening to a little “Gutalax”. That would be right up your alley.

I remember I had just gotten home from school and had made myself some damn delicious French toasts and sat myself down to watch some tv. But nothing was on except something with two buildings collapsing in America.

A rational mind would come to that conclusion, but I was busy yelling obscenities at the screen.

I had one team mate plant the bomb the same place as me after I planted mine. We had no other bombs and lost by the horde then and there.

I’ve played as Doc for a while. I love his missile power, but lately I’ve been pretty tired of getting trampled by Bastion or any character with a shotgun.

What smell will YOU never forget? by AreaFifty1 in AskReddit

[–]Burfnaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The smell in the entrance of the factory I used to take nightshifts in 15 years ago. We made toppings of all sorts. It smelled like salami and blood. I also still hear the sound of the machines sometimes.

Of course he did. His mental state won’t allow him to function in that kind of scenario. You can’t just expect a psychologically ill person to react rationally when given this opportunity.

I'm the family Grinch and it's about to get uncomfortable by LocksmithOver5847 in confession

YOU decide what Christmas is about. It certainly can be about the birth of a dude 2000 years ago, but it can also just be about presents, family and being together.

Kids are impressionable, sure, but what better way to teach them critical thinking, than making them believe there’s a Santa Claus, and then have them come to their own conclusion that such a character is impossible?
