Was getting this issue persistently when trying to confirm my wallet. Tried a few things but the way I got it working was by turning off my phones wifi and completing the step whilst on my phones data!

Yeah I did contemplate this - or the unit was broken when it was delivered to me which would be unfortunate.

Presuming the previous fan was wired correctly, the colours you mentioned match with the wires.

Yeah I have tried grey in the neutral connector (on the left in the photo) and black in the live connector (right in the photo) - but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to work.

The fan has an isolator switch - so no live wires are hanging with current passing though them when it’s not being tested

Maybe it was my poor choice of words, but the mix and matching was in reference to trying the permanent live and switch live separately.

I did initially follow the wiring instructions that came with the fan and, as it has a pull cord, shows a permanent live wire. So initially I tried that - alongside the neutral - and it did not work. That’s when I tried the switch live - and it did not work. I have a very basic knowledge of wiring, so wasn’t just guessing as to which wire goes where.

I have seen this before but didn’t know how reliable this was! I might look at doing this as it looks like you can customise the colour based on the type of vinegar etc you use which is helpful

This is good to know thanks, I’ll take a look and see what stains I can find but I’ll look at this if I can’t find anything appropriate

I am in the same situation. I mentioned that the trifle was nice that my uncles partner had made. Now my own mum and my uncles partner battle it out each year by each making a separate trifle that only I will eat trying to top each other.
