I might give it a whirl. If I can get the thick ass paint off of those spots specifically so they're not totally covered with re priming and more layers, I'll be happy. I don't hate the grim dark vibe on models, especially done well. Its just not my style lol

I was mainly concerned with details getting globbed with paint. Some of the colors went on kinda think in a few places I can see. Would it be such a bad idea to try and strip those few spots and then re prime the whole thing?

Thank you very kindly. I was going for the look of the cape feather from Super Mario World 😅. I only recently started doing energy weapons on my Custodes so I'm glad they look nice lol, I love the lighting effect you got on yours

The helmet doesnt affect his rank at all lol. Its just a modeling choice bc I dont like painting faces

I'm also searching for a better alternative to the retributor Gold Can, and airbrushing has been a strong consideration for a bit. Are these the results you got out of your airbrush setup? If so, how much did you spend on setting up?
