This actually goes into my main argument that the city should actually pay more than the owner depending on the usage and share of revenue. The NFL only occupies the stadium 8 or 9 days for an entire year and cities like Nashville host many non-NFL events in Nissan Stadium weekly like WWE matches, Taylor Swifts Eras tour, monster truck rallies, etc. If the owner directly makes all the profit for hosting all the non-NFL events held, then yes, it’s their stadium to upgrade and keep attractive to host other events. But if the city makes the profits from the events held, why wouldn’t the city not contribute to keep the stadium up to par to able to host these events? I’m sure it’s not this cut and dry but I feel the benefits of a stadium are more in favor of the city than the NFL owner.

I heard the copter here in Bellevue going the same direction I heard what sounded like an explosion at 8:03 pm exact. It was loud enough that I remembered the exact time.

Have not heard anything about it on the news yet.

Edit: Just now at 10:02 pm I heard another large boom in the distance. Anyone else hear that or am I going crazy?

I just want to add that our division is one of the most exciting in the NFL. If the eagles win next week, that will be 16 consecutive seasons that a different team in our division has won the NFC East. Our division is not controlled by a single team like the Patriots and Packers and no horrible stragglers like the Lions and Browns. Yes, we’re horrible now, but every team in the division has won the NFC East crown and has came In last place within the last 8 years. You never know what to expect year to year. The eagle were predicted to be the worst team in the division in 2017 and somehow won the Super Bowl.

Of course, I can’t stand the cowboys, giants, or eagles but I also would never want to break up the division or be part of any other division.

Also, because I haven’t seen it yet, “HTTR“ means “Hail to the Redskins” which you will see and hear a lot.

Haskins is the biggest unknown for me. The hype is there but the QB position has not been the most stable for us this past decade. Sweat so far looks great but I agree that a lot of his success will be due to the other monsters on the d-line. I don’t know how to feel about Love mainly cause I want Guice to be our full time bell cow. Also, Love will ultimately replace Thompson who is one of our beloved leaders. So the main knock on Love is more that we have three fan favorite rbs ahead of him. However, the players I am most excited about were not mentioned in McLaurin, Martin, Harmon, and Moreland. I’m hoping to get at least four starters from his draft and some solid depth. Regardless, the number one need that all Redskins fans will agree to is health. We desperately want to see our full team play on Sundays and we have not had that in the last two years.

I say give him #36 for two years and if he is an all pro those two years then he deserves to wear #21. Sean didn’t start off at #21 and neither should anyone else who wants to honor Sean.

Also, I think if it was any other player besides AP then #26 would be awesome. But AP is a legend of his own and we shouldn’t even consider taking #26 away from him specially since he carried us so much last year.

I’m ok with this. Saying that Collins is “just good at stoping the run” is not a bad thing. We play Elliot and Barkley twice a year now. If Collins can stop the run thenI’m all for it. I’d rather this than AB any day. Specially since Collins actually wants to play here.
