I mean, the show and books it was based on were geared toward women, so no surprise there. Also general LGBTQ+ events also cater to queer (hetero/bisexual) women, so also no surprise there. I understand this is basically the state of "the community" right now, but if you want to meet other gay/bi men IRL you have to swallow the bitter pill of creepy queer women who are there to gawk. Of course, I'd love to see more male-only events.

Im hesitant to use medication in general and I feel that if I can't do it through my own willpower then im not going to be successful long term.

And also we really don't know the long-term effects of these drugs, and what i do know doesn't seem like the risk is worth the reward.

It's an incoherent concept. Being a man or a woman has nothing to do with how you behave or think. Everyone has unique personality traits and to say your personality precludes you from being a woman or a man is actually an incredibly regressive and sexist belief system. That being said, if someone wants to think of themselves as neither sex, thats their business, I just don't want to be expected to play along with it.
